We are returning to the beautiful, intimate setting of the Hacienda San Angel boutique hotel in 2024. Perched on a hilltop above the renowned Guadalupe Church in the center of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Hacienda San Angel is a truly special place offering five-star service and amazing food. CANCELLATION POLICY:

- Full refunds minus $750 will be given for cancellations until December 31, 2024 

- 50% refunds minus $750 wil be given for cancellations January 1 - January 15, 2025.

- No refunds will be issued after February 15, 2025

-  Final payment is due by February 15, 2025

- Trip insurance is available through WeTravel and is strongly encouraged.

The Hacinda San Angel restaurant will be open to the public for dinner in the evenings.

Proper attire / resort wear is required for dinner. 

For most rooms, choose from either single or double occupancy; contact Lori if you need double occupancy pricing. (The San Gabriel is the only suite with 2 beds.)

You can pay by Zelle to save credit card fees.

3:00 p.m.  Arrive in Puerto Vallarta and your diver will take you to Hacienda San Angel where you will settle in and enjoy a welcome drink & snack followed by a tour of the venue.

4:30  p.m.   Brief Orientation followed by Slow Flow Yoga 

5:00 p,m,  Stress, Your Emotions & Your Health

7:30  p.m.   Dinner at Hacienda San Angel

6:00 a.m.  Self-serve fruit, coffee, & tea available

8:00 a.m. Yoga and Journaling Session - Your Mindset

With a population of approximately 500 people, Quimixto is considered a ‘blue zone’ as there are no cars or buses used on land. The only way there is by boat!

We'll be taking a small boat from a small fishing village called Boca de Tomatlan. The boat ride to Quimixto is approximately 20 minutes along a very scenic shoreline.

Once we reach Quimixto, we'll stroll through the sleepy town where you will experience a slow paced vibe with interesting, rustic sites. Quimixto is a photographer’s dream!

Our walk through the town will lead us to a refreshing river crossing. 

It'll take approximately 40min to reach the falls. The path is clear with some inclination and we'll be surrounded by interesting plant life and trees. The scenery is beautiful wherever you look!

Once we reach the falls, you'll take a dip in the refreshing waters of the waterfall. While you're swimming, the restaurant will prepare some guacamole and chips served with a refreshing drink. Margarita / beer / soda or water. 

After the falls, we'll take the same trail back to a certain point then take a detour along the back roads of the town that will take us to the beach. The path is lined with gigantic trees and all sorts of interesting plant life. 

At the beach, you'll have time to sun, swim and lunch.

This walking culinary tour has tasty tacos, mole, ceviche and more at locally owned restaurants and street food stands you might not find on your own. Our expert guide will offer a taste of daily life in two neighborhoods as we indulge in tastings at the venues that locals still cherish. We will meet the colorful characters behind these classic eats and hear their amazing stories.  We will also discover the fascinating history, architecture and culture of downtown Vallarta on our tour.
