Hello! I'm Trish and I am My Trish Advisor! Originally from Iowa but living in Puerto Morelos, Mexico for the past 9 years! I took a drive across 18 states of Mexico with a group of people I met 3 days before at a party in Rosarito. True story! I arrived in Puerto Morelos on November 12th, 2015. I decided I would call this home, for now! I have a tour and transport company that has been operating since 2017 out of Puerto Morelos! Now, I will be hosting multi-day trips! Come join me on an adventure of culture, food, and history!

This was a great experience! Our hotel was excellent-beautiful landscaping, rooms were roomy, and the pool was great! Very colonial place with well appointed furnishings. As an added plus-breakfast on the patio and they have their own bar! The excursions-parades, ceremonies, and walks really provided me with insight on how Day of the Dead is observed in Merida and Yucatan. I learned a lot. Great food, shopping, and time to explore. Visit was well organized but not overly structured. Would highly recommend!

This was a spectacular trip hosted by Trish! I was there for a shorter period of time than the other participants but we still managed to experience so much of Merida during such a beautiful holiday. We had ample time to explore the city on our own time as well as with our group and we attended multiple Dia de los Muertos parades and got the chance to wear costumes and paint our faces. Our group was made up of some amazing people and we got along so well and had so much fun. And the hotel was incredible!

We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were amazing at El Palacito Secreto. Trish at @MyTrishAdvisor is an amazing trip planner. Thank you.

I can't recommend @MyTrishAdvisor enough for all encompassing tours and transportation for the Yucatan and beyond. I joined her Merida Day of the Dead 2024 group. I am a first time solo senior who experienced the best adventure of my life. From our accommodations at El Palacito Secreto to face painting for the Katrina's parade, not one detail was left out. Thank you Trish for giving me the confidence to travel solo, it's not so scary. Deena

I just got back from 5 days 4 nights Day Of The Dead trip in Merida. I highly suggest this trip if you want to experience this tradition! This is my 4th trip with My Trish Advisors group trip. I am a married woman, whose husband doesn’t like to travel. So traveling with Trisha’s organized group trip with others in similar situations and couples, has allowed me to not only enjoy amazing experiences, but to also make new friends along the way!! I felt safe, and in great hands!! I know many people are afraid to travel to Mexico but we felt very safe in the city in general but being with a group was very helpful too. I loved visiting the museum and learned so much about the Mayan history and culture. We visited an incredible cenote that was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and I have been to several cenotes now! Trisha really shares her passion and love for Mexico and her husband Diego is so funny and also very helpful! Trish and Diego make a great team! The parades that we saw were very fun and a beautiful experience! My favorite is the Catrina’s parade with all the colors and dancing! The hotel that we stayed at El Palacito Secreto is like a once in a life time experience. The detail and beauty in this hotel is like nothing I have ever seen. Also staff are all accommodating and even some of the same staff we got to know on last years trip was there, so felt like coming home!! They provided great service! Overall this is a trip of a lifetime so go I’ll see you there!!! Let’s dance!

My wife and I went on a My Trish Advisor group trip to Merida, Yucatan Mexico for the Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos) celebration. The trip was super fun and was so well organized. A perfect blend of planned events/meals and free time to explore on our own. The hotel - El Palacito Secreto was stunning. The food was tasty. The other people in the group were great to hang out with. The trip was spectacular. Highly recommend.
