This tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico. Hernan is an amazing and experienced guide who ensured every little detail was taken care of for all of 6 of us (Kids included - 8 and 3). While a trip to Chichen itza and learning about it is exceptional, the added private cenote and the delicious home cooked meal was just unbelievable. We highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Alinari was a very safe and Excellent driver. Very smooth driving even in the heavy rain and Wind. He was also very punctual. We had a 5 hour trip from Medina to Playa del Carmen. WeTravel is very prompt in replying to any queries about the travel. Thank you Alinari for ensuring our safe arrival to our destination.

The guide was very good, he said his bit and then gave time to explore on your own. The food was good and the cenote was lovely. A good day out!

Amazing trip. The guests expressed to me how it was a highlight of their Mexico trip. They especially loved the lunch with the local family and the secret cenote which blew everyone's expectations out of the water. Good food, good people, and a great day. Good to do Chichen Itza early to beat the crowds also, once you see how busy it gets, it all makes sense why you go early.

I don't normally like to leave reviews, but we had an incredible experience and I just wanted to write a few words to encourage those who might be thinking about doing this trip. The trip felt very safe and secure. Our guide and driver were warm and friendly. I thought that the stop at a family's house for a meal and to swim in their cenote was going to be a cheesy touristy experience, but our time there was wonderful and very memorable, including a great family style cooked meal of local cuisine. Chichen Itza and the stop at Izamal were must see experiences in the Yucatan. The shuttle picked us up at our hotel at 5:55 am promptly. There was a lot of driving involved, as expected, and it is a long day, but a great way to see things. Our guides didn't seem to mind that we brought a speaker along and played DJ along the way to entertain our group of 11. Great trip!
