It is also suitable for travelers who came to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and they have few extra days after the climb. Mkomazi National Park has a number of uniqueness’s. This park is one of the richest savannahs in Africa and possibly in the world in terms of the number of rare and endemic fauna and flora evidenced by the presence of wild dogs and black rhinoceros.
Also it is among few protected areas in Tanzania with large and visible population of gerenuk and massive concentration of Beisa Oryx.

Itinerary
The park lies about 120 kilometers east of Moshi town about 3 hours drive. So the tour will start with the pickup from your accommodation in Moshi at 7.00 am then start driving to Mkomazi national park. Upon arrival around 10.00 am you will proceed with the formalities at the gate for like 10 minutes then start the game drive to explore this park. Then late in the afternoon we will start to drive back to Moshi town for drop off.
