Morning classes, intentional group activities, and sacred ceremonies provide the framework for you to dive inward this week. Our daily yoga ranges from invigorating to restorative and workshops provide opportunity for play and broadening your understanding of asana. On the meditation cushion, we will practice mantra, pranayama and other meditation techniques that you can take home with you to support or begin your personal practice. 

Between classes, there is ample time to unwind and rejuvenate however you need: solo or with friends, adventuring into the jungle and sea, or pampering yourself in the spa all day! We are here to support you in any way and it is my sincere wish that you return home feeling nourished, inspired and renewed.

Located just 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta, our retreat property is nestled in nature between lush jungle and emerald sea. Because it is accessible only by boat, the beach is pristine and the resort is peaceful, making it the perfect sanctuary to disconnect from stress and unwind. Long-time yoga instructor and founder of RasVida Yoga Excursions, Jyoti radiates joy and deep inner wisdom on and off the mat. Her adventurous spirit, love for intercultural experiences and a compassionate heart infuse her retreats and impact all who attend.

Born and raised in a yoga ashram, numerous sacred yoga traditions are at the core of who she is and how she lives her life. Jyoti is dedicated to sharing authentically and continuing her lifelong journey of personal growth. Her biggest reward as a teacher is watching her students cultivate their own inner growth and transformation.

Jyoti ‘s classes invite a more subtle experience with a conscious focus on strength, healthy alignment, and body mechanics. As a recent breast cancer survivor, and mother of two rapidly growing children, she has a renewed sense of life, outdoor adventure, and the importance of self-care.
