About this trip

At Blue Piña Retreats we will take you on a journey into health and happiness. We aim to impact and inspire people way beyond the experience of our one week retreat of relaxation and rejuvenation.

The combination of invigorating morning yoga flows, relaxing restorative afternoon sessions and fresh vegetarian meals made with local, organic ingredients based on holistic nutrition principles will leave you feeling your best possible self. Cooking classes, nutrition and holistic health workshops and self development work will ensure you are taking your newly approached balance and wellbeing back into your daily routine at home.

We look forward to meeting you in the beautiful nature of San Francisco, Mexico.

Our 6 day holistic living retreat will help you to find balance and nourish your body and soul to make you glow from the inside out. You will learn how to prepare quick and healthy meals, incorporate grounding rituals in your daily life and develop a yoga self practice.

During our week together we start each day with a morning get together and chat over tea or coffee followed by an optional meditation and breathing practice at the beach. After that we will have an energizing yoga class led by Teresa while Aneta will prepare a delicious healthy breakfast.

After breakfast there is a cooking class, nutrition/health workshop or farmers market visit followed by a light, nourishing lunch overlooking the ocean. In the afternoon you will have time to rest, explore the beautiful surrounding beaches, walk jungle paths, take a surf lesson, stroll through town or simply relax at the beach or private pool. The afternoon offers a second yoga class geared towards restoring and relaxation followed by dinner and on some days an optional evening activity.

Join us for an unforgettable week of relaxation, fun and connection in the lush nature of Sayulita! Our retreat is limited to 12 participants to ensure an intimate, family like atmosphere of connection, love and mutual support.

Aneta is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Whole Foods Chef who has worked at renown health and wellness retreats from Costa Rica to the Canarian Islands. Her love for food and health shows in her creative, mostly plant based recipies and she loves to share her broad knowledge in workshops and hands on teachings. Preparing local, seasonal and organic ingredients in order to help people to heal their body and soul is her greatest passion. With every meal she will make you glow from the inside out. Teresa is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and yoga teacher with a focus on Ashtanga and Restorative Yoga. She has completed her yoga training in India and has been traveling and teaching in Germany, Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Bali and Mexico for the past 1.5 years. Her classes will help you to strengthen your body and mind, increase your flexibility, work on your breath and find to greater self love, acceptance and inner peace. Teresa also works with clients one on one in nutrition.

The retreat was incredibly special. The location was breath taking, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and starting the days with meditation on the beach made my entire being feel at peace. Aneta's cooking was beyond words. The food was fresh, full of flavor, wholesome and was presented so beautifully. Teresa is an incredible teacher and her passion for yoga shines through her classes. She holds beautiful space for healing, nurturing and challenging the body, mind and spirit. I cannot thank these ladies enough for an incredible week of pure bliss! Aneta and Theresa are just amazing!! The food was out of this world, never though that vegetarian food could be so tasty! Going to this retreat was the best thing I could ever done ! Highly recommend it... the downside.. it's hard to come back to reality after this!

Indeed, this trip was delicious and nutritious and holistic in every way! Perfect trip if you want to unwind, destress, and kick start your life towards a healthier lifestyle. With yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices, whole plant based foods made into delicious meals, nutrition counselling, fun in the sun and so much more! I was more than satisfied, and it far exceeded my expectations!

I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to do so because of my experience. I did not know what to expect before I arrived, but I was quickly blown away at the level of expertise, knowledge, and spirit from these two women! I, not only, had some of the best yoga I've ever encountered, but the vegetarian/vegan food at this retreat was just exceptionally delicious! As a meat eater, I am almost convinced that if Aneta and Teresa can feed me this all the time, I can actually become vegetarian! I can't wait for their recipe e-book! Everyday, they exposed me to something new, either with yoga, meditation, nutrition, aromatherapy, or even something as simple (or complicated) as inner peace. Plus, the location was magical with options for surfing and strolling thru this small yoga/surfing community. I feel more spiritual and happier...and changed by this experience. I hope to follow Teresa and Aneta around the world as they bring happiness and peace to many more yogis!

This yoga retreat exceeded all my expectations from the get go. The villa where the retreat is hosted is absolutely stunning. It is situated right on the beach with amazing views and sounds of the ocean. The villa accommodates up to 8 yogis, so this creates an intimate and personalized kind of retreat. Our hosts Aneta and Teresa are absolutely delightful and adventurous young women. They continually impressed and amazed me with their warmth, enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness. Aneta is the main "chef" and concocts the most delectable vegan/vegetarian brunches, snacks and dinners, all made fresh, from scratch and beautifully presented. Teresa is a graceful yogi who leads the twice daily yoga sessions and the morning meditation on the beach. The morning yoga sessions energetic, the afternoon session restorative. On top of that these ladies gave a couple of informative presentations on nutrition plus a couple of inspiring cooking lessons and a hands on session on essential oils. Throughout the week we became like a family, bonding over our joined interests in yoga and nutritious and delicious food. I attended this retreat with my daughter and we both came away feeling pampered, relaxed, inspired, strong, healthy and warm. A perfect get away from a long Canadian Winter.
