      Itinerary

      Devil’s Lake State Park
      Multi-Sport Adventure

We will be setting up camp Friday evening. All day Saturday and most of Sunday will be spent learning and refining your sea kayaking and rock climbing skills.

We generally sea kayak, hike and rock climb throughout Devil’s Lake State Park. Saturday morning we will be doing some instruction on the basic skills required to rock climb safely. Throughout the rest of the day you will have the opportunity to hike, rock climb, learn advanced rock skills, swim and enjoy the wilderness experience that Devil’s Lake provides.

Sunday morning the group will turn in the rock climbing harness for paddle and PFD and learn basic sea kayak skills. The remainder of the day will be spent touring Devil's Lake.

In order to provide the finest and most complete wilderness experience, we strongly encourage and expect participation in all camp chores, including cooking, washing dishes, setting up and breaking down camp. We will provide all meals (except in transit), tents, all camping and cooking equipment, and all rock climbing-related equipment. Showers and swimming are available at Devil's Lake. You maybe sharing a tent with fellow participants each night.

The Northwest Passage was founded on the belief that there is no better way to fully experience the world than by engaging with it on its own terms. Whether that means clambering over a pressure ridge on one of our North Pole expeditions or exploring a sea cave by kayak on the southern coast of Crete, we have an adventure of a lifetime that fits your activity and skill level. These adventures are designed for the body, mind and soul, perfect for those who seek revitalizing vacations. Come ready for a trip. Leave ready for anything.

Another outstanding trip put together by Northwest Passage. Circumnavigation of Roatan by Sea Kayak. Interesting people, locations, and some great paddling. This is my eighth expedition with Northwest Passage. There has never been a bad experience. These expeditions attract interesting participants who contribute to the overall success of the trip. A lot of planning and foresight go into making this trip challenging, fun, and comfortable. Great food and great leadership. I look forward to my next trip with Northwest Passage.

Just what we had hoped for - great guides, the magnificent Mediterranean, lovely scenery along the way and, of course super kayaking. Thanks NW Passage
