Day 1 - Oct. 31
*Pick up at MEX Airport * Arrival to hotel in Mexico City * Welcome Dinner *
You will be picked up at the airport by a representative of Latino World Travelers and transported to the hotel for check in. In the evening, you will meet up for dinner in a rooftop with amazing views! Details will be provided upon arrival.

OPTIONAL: If you arrive early on Thursday, you can enjoy Lunch at PUJOL Restaurant, the #1 restaurant in Mexico and #13 in the world! You can indulge in a delightful six-course tasting menu — there is no a la carte menu for the cost is $128 per person (excluding drinks and tip). YOU will be responsible for paying for this lunch at the restaurant. Now, if anyone can claim the title to best chef in Mexico, it's definitely Enrique Olvera and his restaurant Pujol. He takes ingredients that grow in the milpa (maize field) and transforms them into amazingly delicious and previously unknown dishes. It's no mystery that it's tough to get in. OPTIONAL: Thursday afternoon, you have the option to book Condesa Walking Tour and explore TWO of Mexico City's most interesting neighborhoods with a local, Condesa and Roma. Day 2 - Nov. 1
*Visit Market * Cooking Class * Mexico City Tour * Mezcal Tasting * Bar/Speakeasy Tour *
In the morning, a renowned Mexican Chef will take us on a Market Tour to one of the main markets of the Roma Norte neighborhood that is full of colors and exotic flavors, Mercado de Medellín. We will immerse ourselves in Mexico's extraordinary food culture by participating in an authentic Mexican hands-on cooking class. We’ll start our experience with a mezcal tasting and "agua fresca" while learning about the history of Mexican cuisine. Then the chef will share with us detailed explanations of recipes to be ready to head to the kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience. Be ready to prepare street food appetizers, two Mexican salsas, zucchini flower salad, white mole, hand made tortillas and corn bread. Afterwards, we will enjoy the delicious lunch we've prepared with a pairing of a Margarita, handcrafted Mexican beer or wine. Finally, because it’s a special Day of the Dead cooking class, a makeup artist will be available at an additional cost.
In the afternoon, discover the secrets of Mexico City on a tour that highlights the best this city has to offer: Ancient Cultures, Archeological Sites, Famous Skyscrapers, Colonial buildings, and Modern Mexican Lifestyle and Trendy places.
In the evening, we will enjoy dinner and then… be ready for some fancy cocktails because we will explore Mexico City’s thriving underground bar scene. We’ll go to 2 speakeasy bars, a mezcaleria and 1 secret bar. These bars are ranked in the top 100 bars in the world occupying spot 96 and 46 respectively. At the mezcaleria, we’ll chat about Mezcal and other Mexican spirits. To get the night started, the first round of Mezcal is on me! We will go to few bars, have some drinks, and plenty of laughs. Day 3 - Nov. 2
*Xochimilco Tour * Day of the Dead Celebration in Mixquic*
In the morning, we will Inside our trajinera (your water ride) you will enjoy latin music, a local party, Mexican snacks, and tequila. This is how Mexican families enjoy Xochimilco. Here you can dance, sing, play, meet new people, and try hot spicy food. Xochimilco will surprise you along the way with other trajineras with mariachis, a replica Island of the Dolls, carnivorous plants, and vendors.
Afterwards, take part in the unique Day of the Dead celebrations that symbolizes the essence of the ritual of death. Honor the past in a street party of riotous colors, flowers and rituals.
Said to be the best place on Earth for the Day of the Dead, San Andres Mixquic, is a town in Tláhuac where the dead are taken seriously. This suburb of Mexico City becomes the ultimate cultural destination. Every 2nd of November, the cemeteries are filled with flowers, the food gets cooking and people (living people) show up from all over the world~ That’s going to be us! We will visit the San Andrés Apóstol Church, enjoy the festivities by walking through decorated streets, joining families in their homes and around the town of Mixquic as they explain the significance of the altars they built for deceased loved ones, and observe families celebrating the lives of loved ones in the town’s cemetery.
Day 4 - Nov. 3
*Coyoacan Tour, including Frida Kahlo’s home and museum * Masks and Lucha Libre/Wrestling Match.
Visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, best known as the Blue House, the place where the renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was born, lived and died. Learn about her life and work, and also about the house. We will explore vibrant Coyoacan and visit five historical sites in the heart of the Coyoacan district of Mexico City. We’ll be in the site where was the headquarters of Hernan Cortes, the Spanish conqueror of Tenochtitlan—as Mexico was called at the time. We’ll immerse ourselves in the mystical history of the neighborhood, and discover its hidden corners and darkest legends. During our journey, we’ll taste authentic Mexican dishes like tacos and tostadas at three different eateries. If you have an adventurous appetite, you can also try crickets and ants, paired with tequila and mezcal—the most Mexican of spirits. We’ll make a quick visit to the Museum of Popular Arts to learn about the roots of Mexican food. We’ll also visit two typical markets with amazing souvenirs and crafts.
Later in the afternoon, we are going to spectate the most popular sport show in all of Mexico. You can not miss a night of wrestling/Lucha Libre, accompanied by lights, music, and hundreds of fans shouting at the same time! Enjoy a refreshing Mexican beer, learn about the history, basic rules and interesting information of traditional Mexican wrestling and taste Mexican candy. After, we will create our own lucha libre masks to commemorate this fantastic ritual. Afterwards, we will head to the Arena to join other enthusiasts for an amazing Lucha Libre show night! We'll watch the best wrestlers in the country fight in the ring. - The 'rudos' and the 'técnicos' face to face trying to win a fight 'de dos a tres caídas' on an experience you'll never forget.
Day 5 - Nov. 4

OPTIONAL: Visit The Pyramids of Teotihuacan, one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico. We can start early in order to avoid the crowds. We'll visit the pyramid of the Sun, Moon, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl and one local museum. Around noon, we will go to a restaurant, where you can try the real mexican food. The experience includes a Mezcal tasting (differents mezcals and the drink of gods “pulque”). Select this option at checkout.
