Transportation / Chacala
We will transport you via van shuttle from the Puerta Vallarta Airport to Mar De Jade (note: people arriving at a different time than the general group will be responsible for their own taxi.)
5 Nights Accomodation
5 Night Stay in the air-conditioned room of your choice (w/private bath) at Mar De Jade, Chacala.
Yoga / Meditation
Twice Daily, we will have Yoga / Meditation offerings in Chacala. These will be a mix of vinyasa and restorative classes.
Organic Meals in Chacala
All meals and snacks at Mar De Jade from Sunday dinner thru Friday breakfast including coffee / tea and fresh squeezed fruit juices daily. Gluten free, vegan, and other diets are no problem!
Mala Making Workshop
To set our intention as a group, we will create rosewood and gemstone Mala (necklaces) upon arrival in Chacala.
Local School Trip
See Chacala a little closer as we visit Mar De Jade's own Montessori school.
Farm Tour
Hear the story of Mar De Jade's founding and tour the Organic Farm!
Salt Scrub Workshop
Detox during this week... and create your own salt scrub with sea salt and essential oils for healing and relaxation.
Transportation / PV
We will take our Van Shuttle back as a group to Puerta Vallarta.

2 Night Stay in beautiful Sayulita (buffet breakfast included).
Stand Up Paddleboarding
We will have an afternoon excursion in Chacala to try out this relaxing and beautiful sport!
Altar Contest
Visit Dia De Los Muertos Altares in the Town Square and enjoy the live local music. You won't believe the creativity and craftmanship of these beautiful works of art.

Arrive at Mar De Jade!
Our journey begins! Fly into Puerta Vallarta International Airport (we can recommend easy and direct flights from Oakland or SFO to PVR. Southwest now flies direct from both of these locations for around $350 R/T). Meet our group at the designated pickup point and grab the Group Shuttle to Mar De Jade. This trip will take around 1.5 hours and is a lovely and relaxing drive. Arrive to the retreat center for a snack, a relaxing swim in the pool, and get settled settle in before dinner! We will have a group Meet N Greet after dinner.

Mar De Jade
Wake up early to join us for an energizing Power Yoga session overlooking the sea. After a delicious organic breakfast, you are free to hang at the beach or pools, explore the town of Chacala, journal, horseback ride, snorkel, hike, or have a Sweat Lodge experience. We will have a leisurely mid-afternoon lunch, then some time to relax and digest before our afternoon yoga session. Sunset cocktail hour will follow, then a fresh and healthful dinner. Spend quality time with good folks or soak in your private bath before heading off to bed for a relaxing sleep in your air-conditioned room!

Travel to Sayulita!
After morning yoga and brunch, we take our van shuttle into Sayulita and check-in to our beachside hotel. Once settled, you are free to explore the town, rest, or take a dip in the hotel pool. It's Dia De Los Muertos - so you won't want to miss the altars in the Plaza and all around town and tons of live bands!

Farewell brunch and travel home
We will gather for our last brunch together at our hotel. Here, we can share stories of the week, and catch up on the adventures of our new friends! Most direct flights to the Bay leave mid-afternoon... so there is plenty of time to pack up and grab a cab for the 45 minute journey back to the airport. We will see you next year...

Rachel Rajput founded Left Coast Power Yoga in 2013 to bring a challenging, heated Power Yoga shala to the Oakland community. As a yoga instructor, she draws from her dance, theater, and improvisation background. She weaves bits of Yogic philosophy into every class and hopes that students come out of her classes ready to take on the world like true Warriors! She received her 200 Hr Certification from Laughing Lotus SF (with Keith Borden and Jasmine Tarkeshi, and her 300 Hr from Yoga Tree (with Jason Crandall, Janet Stone, Jane Austin, and Annie Carpenter.) Rachel believes that the power of your practice can make any of life’s problems, no matter how big or small, infinitely more manageable. She loves leading retreats both locally in Northern California.... and abroad!

I had a truly transformative experience at the Mama Yuba retreat by Left Coast. It was a powerful journey of reconnecting with nature and rediscovering myself in ways I didn’t expect. The setting, the people, and the guidance all came together beautifully. I’d absolutely do it again and recommend it to anyone seeking real inner connection and renewal.

The Pacific coast is beautiful. The resort, Mar de Jade, is lovely and admirable for its support for guests, staff and the community. The yoga was excellent, serious and challenging. All of the participants in our yoga retreat were friendly, and the leadership of Malka and Rachel was excellent.

Everything about this vacation was wonderful and thoughtfully planned. The excursions were all optional and well-priced. There was plenty of downtime and Mar de Jade is beautifully situated right on the beach so you can enjoy the sound of the waves no matter where you are on the property. The twice daily yoga sessions were amazing and just the right amount of challenging flow for the morning session and restorative postures in the evening. Malka and Rachel thought of everything and their positivity is infectious! They have attracted a beautiful and soulful community around them and I always know I’m in good hands on their trips. I’m already looking forward to Thailand next year!

This was an amazing experience! Rachel and Malka were wonderful guides through both power and restorative yoga classes, creating a community within our group in just a week. The location at Mar de Jade was beautiful and comfortable, with delicious food and friendly staff. I'm looking forward to another trip with this group in the future!
