I had a great time. The trip was well organized and the guides were quite good. The tour director was outstanding. Our flight from Catania to Rome was cancelled because a fire shutdown the Catania airport for 3 days which we found out as we were preparing to leave for the airport. He worked very hard to come up with alternative arrangements so that we wouldn’t miss our flights home from Rome. He was under considerable pressure as many other people were scrambling to make arrangements. Michael was cool, never lost his sense of purpose and did a remarkable job under extreme circumstances.

This an excellent experience. Michael Kenny knows how to take care us a group. Great food, excellent cultural experiences and awesome accommodations.

Defined Destinations could not of done a better job. The itinerary was perfect. The tours and tour guides were wonderful and the amount of time for ourselves was just right. Michael Kenny was always there if you had any questions or needed guidance. We started the trip not knowing anyone in the group and finished the trip with fond memories and a bunch of new friends. We are looking forward to future trips with Defined Destinations.

We had a great time. Really good group of people made everything we did better. Good blend of scheduled tours and free time to explore. We like the walking part verse being herded in a bus everywhere. Hotels were top notch. The breakfast offerings were amazing. Suggestions: 1. Possibly share a list of names for everyone on the tour. By the time we matched names with faces it was time to go home. We are getting older you know. 2. We asked for and really needed better seating assignments or at least enough notification of the seat assignments that we could fend for ourselves. In true St. Louis Airport customer service they would do nothing for us. Fortunately a young man next to us said he would find another seat so we could spread out our legs and there were plenty of open seat options. Frankfurt Lufthansa customer service was amazing. As soon as she looked at us she said your seats won't do and moved us to more comfortable seats. Middle seats with a person on either side doesn't cut it with our legs. Michael was a great host. Had everything in control and when it went array he stayed cool and went to plan B, thought well on his feet!
