Accra City Tour with visits to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum, W.E.B. Dubois Memorial Centre (for Pan-African history), the National Museum of Ghana and Arts Centre and Crafts Bazaar. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Accra.

We'll leave Accra and head to Central Region where we’ll visit Elmina Slave Castle and Dungeons, followed by lunch and relaxation at a breezy beachfront restaurant at Lemon Beach Resort. Dinner and overnight in Elmina.
Hotel: Coconut Groove or similar
After breakfast, we visit Ghana’s topmost tropical rainforest at Kakum. Enjoy the thrilling experience of walking on the tree-top canopy walkway in the national park. Hike along the “Kuntan” trail in this natural supermarket to discover the medicinal and other socio-economic values of the flora with the chance of encountering birdlife and butterflies. This morning after breakfast, we shall head toward Kumasi in the Ashanti region with a brief tour at the Slave River in Assin Manso for a solemn moment at this river that gave the last bath to slave captives en route to the slave dungeons. You may want to lay a flower at the graves of the three slave descendants whose remains have found their way back home through the “Door of Return”. We Continue to Ashanti Region for a dinner and overnight in Kumasi.

After early breakfast, we visit the legendary Okomfo Anokye Sword site, Prempeh II cultural and historical Museum, Manhyia Palace Museum of Asante royalty, and Kejetia Central Market which is the largest and most exciting open market in Ghana. End the day with at Adanwomase, famous for its Asante traditional hand-woven cloth, kente. Dinner and overnight is at your hotel in Kumasi.

After breakfast today, we continue our tour to the Volta Region with a lunch break at Akosombo before heading to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. Tafi Atome is a local community that has learnt to live harmoniously with Mona monkeys. A tour of the monkey forest will be followed by a traditional “Borborbor” Dance performance. Get ready to shake your waist as the performers lead you into various movement on sweet melodies of Ewe music. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ho.

Wake up this morning in the Volta region, a region of stunning scenic beauty. We shall visit the highest human settlement in Ghana, called the Amedzofe. We will also climb the Mountain Gemi which is the Ghana's fifth highest mountain about 2,600 feet above sea level. We will walk up this mountain to admire the panoramic view of the entire town of Amedzofe. (Optional). Then we continue to the Wli Waterfalls for a refreshing view of the water cascading down from a height of about 500ft. Get your swimming costumes ready and enjoy the refreshing water falling down upon you. Overnight in Ho.

Today we drive back to Accra through Sogakope as we make a brief stop at Ancestral wall at Prampram. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Overnight in Accra.

The last day of your visit is open for your optional activities. We shall visit Artist Alliance, Arts Centre, and/or Makola open-market for your last minute souvenir shopping. A farewell dinner in one of Accra’s top local restaurants will precede your transfer to Kotoka International Airport for your flight home. Tour ends.
