Early in the morning, we’ll arrange a private transfer to the most famous pyramids near Mexico City: Teotihuacán where you’ll experience a 45 min hot air balloon ride.
Fly over the imposing & emblematic Teotihuacán Archaeological Site while the sun rises upon you, enjoy the view from the top, and don’t forget your camera to contemplate the breathtaking scenes of the pyramids. For landing, you’ll have a traditional Mexican brunch & toast with bubbles!
First you’ll head to Jardines del Pedregal a nice neighborhood at the south of the city where you’ll enjoy a private guided tour at Casa Prieto, a masterpiece from the renowned Mexican architect Luis Barragán, constructed in the 50’s and the biggest house he built where his style is totally expressed.
Next to Casa Prieto, you’ll find Tetetlán, a trendy restaurant of Mexican cuisine, where you can enjoy lunch.
You'll head to Xochimilco to experience this magical place in a different way. You'll enjoy the view from the canals and the Chinampa del Sol just when the sun rises upon you. Don Francisco will be in charge of preparing a traditional breakfast using ingredients from the day's harvest that you'll delight in along with the view. Breakfast options include quesadillas of huitlacoche, squash blossom, spinach and more ingredients, tlacoyos or chilaquiles, all prepared with corn native from San Miguel Xicalco and accompanied by the classic salad of the region.
You'll start the private tour with an architecture and art expert at Chapultepec Castle, home of the emperor Maximiliano de Habsburgo in the 19th century one of the most beautiful and interesting museums in the city. The only royal castle in the Americas, this building has served several purposes during its history, including a Military Academy, Imperial residence, Presidential home, observatory, and presently, the National Museum of History.
