Traveling can be stressful, but we take the worry out of travel by handling all the hard bits for you. We do the planning, book the hotels, and reserve your restaurant. We know the villages to visit, the vineyards to tour, and the cooking classes to attend. We set all this up for you. Then we make your trip easy. First we pick you up at the airport in a small van and whisk you to your hotel. We travel with you from place to place, from activity to activity, and finally deliver you back to the airport for your flight home.

I had a wonderful time! Matece is a strong leader when it comes to ushering in a peaceful yoga retreat. The accommodations at the resort were excellent. Nothing too fancy but everything was comfortable, clean, and high quality. They resort staff were also wonderful. They quickly learn your name and how you like your morning coffee, and were always attentive and kind. The excursions were well planned and nothing short of magical. I felt well taken care of and was able to build special memories. A well thought out and organized trip!

I had a great trip, the weather was fabulous and the scenery was beautiful. We had a fun group! A couple of the walking days were long so it would be best in the future to shorten some of them or evenly the distibute the mileage. I would do another part of the Camino in the future.

Excellent suggestion, Chris. For next year we have indeed shuffled around the stages on the Camino to shorten the longest days.

I was excited to be returning to Spain for the first time since 1981. I love Spain and loved the opportunity to speak Spanish again. The hotels were great (except the Casa do Peregrino, which wasn't part of the tour), the meals were great and the company was great. The leadership team - Bob, Don and Betsy - provided the support the group needed in terms of arranging the hotels, the food, transporting the luggage and letting us know about what to expect on the trail. Not sure how the team managed to provide great weather but we had that too. Unfortunately, I wasn't up to the task as the walk was harder for me that I anticipated. I knew it would be a lot of walking but it was more than I was able to manage, so I resorted to half days and then hopped in the van which was a great asset. I would suggest that those signing up in the future know before they sign up that this section as designed requires the ability to walk some steep terrain and that no day is less that 12 miles, most being more that that as in 14, 16, 18, 14 and 12 miles a day. Also, Iberia is not the easiest airline to deal with and the airport strike at the end didn't help. And, both my husband and I picked up some bug at the end from which we are still recovering. That said, I can close my eyes and still see the group walking the Camino, memories of which will stay with me I am sure for a long time.

Kate, it was a shame that your knee wasn't cooperating as you would have liked, but it was great having you and Rob on this trip and I'm pleased that you enjoyed it despite challenging circumstances. We have reworked the trip for next year to shorten the longest sections. Once you're knee is back in shape, I hope you'll join us on another walk on the Camino. Perhaps Portugal?

Hard but rewarding walk on the last segment of the Camino. Our 4th trip with Travel Fever, so we expected two things: good food and good company. Those expectations were met and exceeded. Our group of walkers were congenial, compatible and fun, the accommodations varied from quaint to great, and the scenery was unsurpassed. Group leaders were attentive and accommodating, not to mention fun to travel with.

It was much more difficult than I expected. I greatly appreciated the assistance I received from Bob and Don. The rooms were very nice, the dinners were exceptional and I loved lunch. I had a great time and met some terrific people who will be my friends for a long time. Wonderful trip.
