You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport to fly to Cusco on our private SUV. When you arrive, you will be transferred from Cusco airport to the hotel after a brief welcoming session. Cusco is not just a simple town; it is a place of man-made beauty. Some consider it a time machine of sorts because it is the oldest inhabited city in the western Hemisphere, now called the Archaeological Capital of America, and it is one of the new Wonders of the World. 

In the afternoon, the Imperial Cusco City tour starts. You will visit four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, where the Incas showed to the conquistadors the power of their Empire by building an incredible place using huge stones; Q’enqo, a ceremonial center; Pucapucara, a control point that served as a kind of customs office; and Tambomachay, a sacred place where Incas worshiped the water.

 Today we will see the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will stop to take in the iconic view of the Urubamba River that snakes its way through the valley. Your journey continues to the small village of Pisac, with a colorful handicraft market, and the archeological complex of Pisac, where your guide will explain the history and Inca architecture of this wonderful site.

Next stop: Urubamba. Here, we will have lunch at a restaurant that specializes in the regional cuisine. Then we will head to Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city because it has kept the originality of the of the streets, houses channels of water flowing by the middle of the lanes.  An impressive archeological site can be seen here, made up of an enormous sculpture of the main Incan God called Wiracocha, carved into the mountainside. We will expend the night here.

Start the day with a healthy breakfast, and then we will go a visit non-profit organization call Awamaki that empower women and girls with education and financial independence. We will meet with one of the members of the organization and will take a journey into the heart of a Quechua community. The tour begins with a beautiful drive, ascending nearly 1,000m, to the upper Andean community of Patacancha or Huilloc. Upon arrival we will visit the cooperative's weaving center to learn about weaving and its significance in Andean culture. This tour includes a demonstration of the entire process, beginning with how alpaca or sheep wool is hand spun into yarn, how local plants are used as natural dyes, and finally how the yarn is woven into the final product. After the demonstration, you will have the chance to try weaving yourself! After your weaving lesson, enjoy a home-cooked meal in a weaver’s home including soup and main course. The day will end with a chance to purchase items from the women you met during your tour, providing you a change to bring home a hand-woven memory from your trip.

In the afternoon, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to walk, read a book, go to the market or whatever you feel like. Remember, the next day you are going to see one of 7 Wonder of the World, “Machu Picchu”.

An early morning, but it will be worth it. You'll wake up at 4:30am and have breakfast in the hotel, then take a bus to the top of Machu Picchu for a breathtaking sunrise view of this wonder of the world. 

Our guide will take you on a 2 hours tour around the ruins, teaching you all about the ancient Inca city. After the tour you will have free time to wander around and explore by yourself.

Alternatively, you can choose to spend the rest of your morning exploring the town and village in and around Machu Picchu. Your guide can tell you about different hotspots you can check out. At the arranged time we will return to Cusco by train and transfer you to your hotel.

We will pick you up early (5a.m.) from your Cusco hotel and set out on a drive through the South Valley. Once we reach the Inkintuyoc Bridge, we will have breakfast. We then start off on our hike, following a lovely stream. You will be immediately surprised by herds of alpacas and llamas. We will have consistent views of the Ausangate Mountain. We will hike through villages and interact with the local residents. We will stop for a box lunch along the trail. Back on the trail, we encounter more of the traditional elements of this trek. We have the prospect of seeing chinchillas and vicunas. 

After a total hike of approximately 3 1/2 hours, we finally reach our destination we came to see: The Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). After getting over the initial shock of its beauty, you will have time to explore the area. You will have time to take pictures and soak up the environment. At this point, it is time to go back down. We will hike downhill the way we came. The hike will take 3 hours. We will drop you off at your Cusco hotel. Approximate arrival time is 5 pm. (Alternatives tours are offered)

Today we will say goodbye to Cusco after a well deserve breakfast. Then we will be transfer to the airport to take our flight to Lima. In Lima you will have the rest of the day free.

After breakfast around 9am you will start with Lima City tour. This is a walking tour, because we believe that it is the best way to appreciate everything that we have around us; wear a comfortable walking shoe. We will show you the Historic Center of Lima from the perspective of architects and history lovers. We will see different squares and wonderful buildings from the XVI – XX century while we learn about the Peruvian culture and also about our current reality. What makes our tour interesting is that we will go from the surface to an underground Lima visiting the famous San Francisco Convent and its mysterious catacombs. To make it a perfect experience for you, we will have the opportunity to make a Peruvian coffee tasting or we will offer you a local drink prepared based on quinoa. 

Then we will go to the Museo of Pisco. In this tour you will get the chance to sample some piscos, as well as be guided by one of Peru’s best barmen on how to make the perfect pisco sour. Take the classic approach with pisco, key lime, syrup and a lot of shaking! or put a twist on the traditional cocktail with ingredients like passion fruit, mango, coca leaf, or strawberry.

After you find the perfect drink fusion, find the best pairing with Peru’s world-renowned ceviche. In Peru, ceviche has been declaring to be part of Peru’s “national heritage” and has had a holiday declared in its honor.  In this class, you will learn all the techniques and secrets to make the best in town using freshest ingredients, lively scenery, cosmic flavors and cheerful company will leave you wanting more.
