DISCOVER SCUBA
A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the basics to enjoy an introduction dive with a PADI professional – combined with a trip to the beautiful Coiba National Park in Panama.

If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. If you make an open water dive, you'll practice a few more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Get ready to:
We need a minimum of divers for this trip. We accept your booking and will promote this trip to other interested beginners. In case we don’t get the required minimum, we give you the choice to change the date or get a full refund of your deposit.
We try to leave Santa Catalina beach between 8:00 and 8:30, so you should be here the afternoon before ill 6:30 or in the morning between 7:30 and 7:45. After a general briefing, we take a boat ride of 1 to 1:30 hours to our training site, where you will receive the briefing and your introduction. After your theory presentation,, skill session and introduction dive (one hour approximately) we will have a break on one of Coiba’s beaches to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, some beaches offer also excellent snorkeling, or possibilities to see monkeys, birds, butterflies or crocodiles. We will also offer you a packed, called lunch with this break.
After the break we will head to a "rel dive site" and your PADI Professional will take you - under his/her close supervision to a real fun dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet.
We will be back to Santa Catalina between 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
