5 nights of accomodations starting in Puerto Escondido and ending in Oaxaca. We will be staying in boutique hotels in both towns.

Your ideal flight lands in Puerto Escondido by 9/30 and leaves from Oaxaca (10/5), so you don't waste precious time of your vacation driving back to Puerto Escondido.

🏖️Starting in Puerto Escondido to disconnect from your busy life and connect with yourself & nature. We will kick off our day with an opening circle & a toast while watching the sunset.

We'll explore different areas of this beautiful coast, including Punta Zicatela, Manzanillo, Zicatela town and more.

Learn about their local efforts to grow the turtle population and experience releasing one baby turtle into the ocean. This activity is optional (not included) and is about $700 pesos or $40.

Make sure to pack your bathing suit, sun hat & sun protection.

⛪ After 3 nights in Puerto Escondido, we will travel to Oaxaca city. It takes 3 hours in a shuttle, which is of course included in your package.

We will spend 2 nights Oaxaca. This beautiful city is filled colorful streets, incredible food, and a perfect blend of culture and charm. Their markets, the different types of mole, their local art is so worth the visit.

It is recommended to visit their two main markets, 20 de noviembre & Benito Juarez.

It is highly recommended you to buy traveler's insurance!

You can cancel your reservation by July 30th, 2026. $350 non-refundable fee is applied.

Cancellations between July 31st - August 31st receive 50% off their total packages.

Cancellations from September 1st - September 15th receive 25% of their total packages.

If you cancel on September 16th or later, only 10% of the package will be refunded.

Andreina grew up in Venezuela and her mom was a travel agent. 

An idea started when she was about to turn 15, becoming a quinceañera. The possibility for a big & dreamy trip was on her horizon. 

Andreina's mom (Amanda) told her that if she could find 15 friends that could join the 4 week Europe quinceañera trip and pay for it, Andreina's spot was financially covered. Guess what? Andreina spent a whole month in Europe + 2 weeks in Madrid with her godfather and his family.

Andreina started organizing retreats in 2014, starting in Tulum Mexico for two years. In 2016, she took a group to Havana & Varadero in Cuba. In 2017 & 2018, they visited Nosara in Costa Rica and also Peru. In 2019, they went back to Peru and also disconvered Chacala, Mexico. In 2023, they went back to Chacala & in 2024, they made up for the years they didn't travel because of COVID. Four trips were offered in 2024: Camino de Santiago Frances, Coast of Barcelona, Camino de Santiago Portugues and Quimixto in Mexico. In 2025 they went to Colombia and in 2026, the adventures include Camino Portugues & now Oaxaca, Mexico.

Andreina's love for traveling, building community, exercising and connecting with people has made our Dejando Huellas adventures her best gift to herself and to others. 

Arrive to Puerto Escondido, feel the sand on your feet, take a deep breath facing the ocean and allow yourself to take this time for you.

We'll start our day with movement together (class details TBC).

A short drive to Manzanillo beach to enjoy part of the day in calmer waters.

A visit to the turtle sanctuary and you will get to release one baby turtle to the ocean.

We will end our day with a delicious meal together at Punta Zicatela (included in your package)

The day will be free for you to enjoy what you like & need. You might want to take a local excursion, or we can decide together to go snorkeling, or visit another town.

We have planned an afternoon in Zicatela to enjoy their beautiful sunset, watching the surfers, enjoying a mocktail/cocktail with one of the best bartenders that Andreina's met and finishing with a group meal at Brisas, fresh caught local fish. If you don't eat fish, please make sure to let Andreina know ahead of time.

We will leave Puerto Escondido by 8:30am to travel by shuttle for 3 hours.

Our afternoon will include a private tour to explore El Tule, and learning about their famous mezcal and how's made. did you know that the agave plant needs about 8 years of life to be used for mezcal?

We will take a private tour to visit artisan towns, learn about their process & support their business by taking something special with you.

We will experience textiles, barro negro & alebrijes.

It might feel like that's a long day, but it will be totally worth it.

We will end our day with a Michelin Star meal.

You might want to stay longer and keep experiencing this town.

However, the group activities end on Monday and some of us will fly from Oaxaca airport back home.
