I just returned from the most magical, amazing trip to Vietnam with Way to Travel. I opted for the 17 day tour, and you will miss out on so much if you skip that part. Jane, the owner is so easy to work with and a lot of fun. Mr. T, our tour guide was one in a million. We had 18 people on our tour and he managed to run it without a flaw. His knowledge never ceased to amaze me, his stories of his life were humbling, and his sense of humor was unmatched. Someone in out group is starting a Mr. T Fan Club Facebook page. We had a very cooperative group, but there were still issues with people getting sick and he handled everything perfectly. I can’t even begin to tell you how many different excursions and activities we did. They covered it all and gave us an experience of a lifetime. They left no stones unturned. We fished, walked, did several different times of boats, trains, planes, biking, walking, different rickshaw rides, crafts, homestay excursions and way too many things to even begin to cover. If you want to really see and experience Vietnam, Way to Travel is who you want to go with. There were a few optional add ons during the trip that you could do, or opt not to. Many places take credit cards but we all spent more cash than anticipated. This isn’t a complaint, but everyone needs to know that a lot of the additional things we did we needed cash for. Mr T always showed us where to exchange our money if we needed to or find an ATM. He was able to find the answers to any questions that everyone or anyone from our group had.

There is so much to say about this trip. It was my first solo trip and from the very beginning I was made to feel at ease and relaxed that everything was under control. It certainly was, down to every last detail. Jane and Mr T did an amazing job with the itinerary. I was excited for every single day and not one of them was a disappointment. I literally cannot find fault with the hotels, food, trips, DIY project and transport. They did think of everything. I cannot say which was my favourite bit of the trip as I loved every bit of it and we were very lucky to have a great group of 18. I was so sad leaving them all as I regretfully didn't do the bolt on. I will definitely do that next time. Finally, Mr T!!!! Our lovely tour guide. He is the most patient, kind and sweet man. As a large group of 18 people, he handled us perfectly. Even getting us all on the train with very limited time. He never once seemed annoyed, irritated or stressed by our incessant questioning and constant need for reminders of what time breakfast was etc, haha. We were all over 50, lol. Even on his day off he came to meet us and was always on the phone if we needed something in our spare time. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We are all his biggest fan club and he will never be forgotten but I am sure we will all be back to see him anyway. Lots of best wishes T, take care, until the next time. Keep smiling :) Hayley xx

I recently returned from Way to Travel Vietnamese trip that included touring and most importantly 3 days giving back to the community by helping a poor family have a better quality of life. We were a group of strangers from several continents that came together and with guidance from our guide, Mr T and local tradesman achieved a great deal. We built a kitchen with a new gas stove, new tiled shower room, beautiful new pen for 50 + donated chickens, large concreted area in front of the house. New household items were donated to an extremely grateful and slightly overwhelmed family. This was hard work but so much fun was had by all in the process. I am so happy I got to have this experience and meet all these wonderful people. Hopefully we will meet again.

I was on the March 2024 Tour. it was an amazing experience. Mr. T was amazing! He had gone above and beyond in his expertise of his beautiful homeland of Vietnam. The Volunteer Project was alot of work but fun too. it made us feel so good in what we did to enhance the lives of a local village family. On this tour we saw many beautiful sights, fantastic food tour, a couple of performances, and made new friendships! I plan to return next year to spend more time at their beautiful beaches! Thank you so much to Jane and Mr. T! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

If you're looking for a fun-filled jam packed adventure, exploring Vietnam from the North in Hanoi to the South in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekgong Delta and south in-between then this tour company, does it all? Way to Travel is definitely your choice of tour company which also includes some give back to the community projects that will leave your heart so full that you were able to help in a small way change the life of a local family. Tuan and Jane have taken care of every detail that you could imagine. From walking tours of each city and exploring local markets, visiting pagodas to recommendations for massages, laundry services and evening dinners. Our guide Tuan went above and beyond assisting everyone in any way needed. Tuan's knowledge of the history of each area was an incredible way to hear and learn about the history and culture of this amazing country. Our transportation and accommodations were all excellent, roomy AC mini buses to transport us to next location and even an overnight train to central Vietnam. Boats, buses, trains, rickshaws, electric cars, scooters, bicycles and plane to Ho Chi Minh City if you do the add on. Each day was filled with so much variety, cruising and kayaking Halong Bay, electric cars to ride basket boats to cooking classes in the north, central and south to riding in rickshaws and biking amongst the rice fields to climbing 455 steps to the top of Dragon Mountain. If you arrive early Jane has a special tour of her local villages, incense factory, traditional conical hat making and lunch with a local family and more. Whether your traveling solo or with someone you will be treated with such care by this amazing team. Don't hesitate to book now you will come away changed for the better and your heart with definitely be full of the sights and sounds of the people and landscape of Vietnam with memories that will last forever.
