Today in the morning we will go to your hotel in order to start our excursion to the sacred valley of the Incas, where we will be able to appreciate different ecological levels and how the Andean man domesticated plants and animals to obtain an improvement in their production such as: potato , corn, quinoa, alpaca, llama, among others.
During our excursion we will visit the Archaeological Parks of Pisaq and -Ollantaytambo:
– The Pisaq Archaeological Park (3,346 meters / 10,977 feet) is one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region, known as a great astronomical observatory. In the colonial town of Pisaq there is a picturesque artisan market that contains very important artistic expressions such as textiles, goldsmiths, paintings, silverware, among others. Thus becoming a mandatory stop for visitors.
– The Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo (2800 meters / 9186 feet) is a set of pre-Inca and Inca constructions, where the urban model designed by the Andean culture stands out, it is also known as the last living Inca city since its inhabitants still live in the houses that their ancestors used half a century ago.
