Magic Kingdom is home to some of the most beloved and classic rides that Walt Disney himself created. You'll find It's a Small World and The Carousel of Progress. You'll also find popular roller coasters like Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
You'll find several delicious food options at this park. From classic Dole Whip to fine dining inside Cinderella's Castle, you'll find every type of dining experience.
It's important to note that Magic Kingdom was a dry park for a long time. And these days the only spots you'll find alcoholic drinks are at table service restaurants.
You have several options for getting to the Magic Kingdom
Parking
If you have a car, plan on parking at the ticket and transportation center to get to Magic Kingdom. The rate is $25 to park (unless you are a passholder or resort guest). From there you can use the ferry or monorail to get to the park. Keep this in mind as it can be time consuming.
Monorail
If you are staying at the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, or the Contemporary Resort you can take the monorail from your hotel directly to the Magic Kingdom. You can also take the Monorail from the Ticket and Transportation center directly to this park.
Buses
There are bus stops to and from the resorts that stop in front of the Magic Kingdom.
Ferry
Ferries and boats can be taken from some resorts to the Magic Kingdom.
Minnie Vans
Using the Lyft app, you can call a Disney Cast Member to pick you up in a special van that looks like Minnie Mouse. All Minnie Vans have 2 car seats available and can take you anywhere on the Disney property. Price varies depending on how far you travel.
At Magic Kingdom, you CAN bring a bag or backpack on to every attraction. So feel free to pack a bag with your essentials for the day.

Universal Orlando and its’ cojoined twin, Islands of Adventure, are independent entities that can be visited separately or combined by purchasing a two park ticket.
They are both within walking distance of each other and are divided by Universal Orlando’s dining and retail complex ‘City Walk’.
Not only are Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure two amazingly great parks in their own right, each one has the added bonus of The Wizarding Word of Harry Potter.
Hogsmeade was the first ‘theme park within a theme park’ to open to much fanfare at Islands of Adventure in 2010 and has been such a massive success that expansion was inevitable. Diagon Alley opened it’s doors in 2014 much to the delight of Harry Potter fans all over the world.
