MUSA is an environmental project that began in 2009, featuring over 400 underwater statues, each serving as a habitat for sea animals. It’s now the home to a variety of marine life. The second dive on Manchones reef offers opportunities to see lobsters, eels, stingrays, tropical fish, sea turtles, nurse sharks and more.
We will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the marina to sign paperwork, prepare your gear, and board the boat. Your first dive will be at the Underwater Museum, which has a maximum depth of 30 feet – 10 meters.
After exploring MUSA, we’ll head to Manchones Reef. This unique combination of an underwater museum and reef offers an unforgettable diving experience in Cancun.
Manchones Reef, with its stunning coral formations, provides a rich and diverse habitat for a wide range of marine life. Its shallow depths make it accessible to divers of all levels, allowing for an up-close encounter with the reef’s natural beauty.
The underwater visibility is usually around 82 feet – 25 meters, ensuring a clear, easy and immersive diving experience.
We will be back to the departure marina around 4.00 pm
