We will be staying at Vida Asana School of Yoga., conveniently located 90 minutes from San Jose Airport (SJO), just outside ofJacó in beautiful Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. Situated between the lush tropical beauty of the jungle and world-famous beaches of Playa Hermosa, our location provides easy access to a variety of activities, excursions, restaurants, and shopping, yet offers a peaceful jungle setting to repose. 

Vida Asana is a retreat center for yoga and other practices; dynamically it is a blank slate for an inner journey supported in all aspects by the Vida Asana family. Come get lost between the ocean and the jungle and we’ll take care of the rest! 

Your All Inclusive Group Offering at Vida Asana Includes:

-One group shuttle to and from the airport, on the day your retreat starts & ends

-Two spacious open-air jungle yoga shalas, with mats, blocks, straps, bolsters

-All rooms have a private bathroom, hot water, AC, ceiling fan, organic soap, shampoo & conditioner

-Three abundant organic (whenever possible) meals per day

-Welcome refreshments and light snack upon arrival

-Pool, sun deck with lounge chairs, hammocks, and covered lounge area

Markandeya Rsi: Born in Argentina, he’s been practicing Yoga since he was very young, thanks to the influence of his grandmother (his first yoga teacher).  He trained as a monk in India and other countries for more than 4 years, certifying himself in different styles of yoga, meditation, philosophy and leadership.  Now, based in San Diego, CA. Teaching in the most renowned gyms and studios in San Diego and traveling to many cities and countries, giving classes and seminars at universities, TV shows, radio and schools.

Devi Denise: I am a visionary & a healer with a big passion to inspire people to transform their lives! I am the spiritual CEO of Sage Secrets Retreats. I hold certifications in; Yoga, Massage, Reiki, Spiritual Life Coaching, Shamanism, NLP, Holistic Nutrition, Dance, Sound Healing & Fitness. I am also licensed in Ayurvedic & Siddha medicine, I studied in South India. My students & massage clients yearned for a way to bring all these ancient & modern healing modalities together. Sage Secrets Retreats was born!

I teach yoga classes, dance workshops, & spiritual retreats around the globe. Outside of retreats, I currently work in hospitality, the luxury spa Industry. I am the massage therapy & yoga program director, at a Hilton Hotel in San Diego, CA. Within the past 15 years, I have traveled all over the world by myself, with just a backpack for 6 weeks - 1 year at a time. This solo spiritual travel, has been such a colorful, playful & vivid experience! I learned so much about life, the deeper meaning & the natural world. 

I've been living between SD & Costa Rica since 2016. The Costa Rican Rainforest is sacred to me, she nourishes my soul. I've seen her work magic in me & my students lives! I was on a quest for a new perspective & devotion in this lifetime. Through spiritual travel, I've found it! 

It is my wish & blessing that every being on the planet gets on path to fulfilling their Dharma, their souls purpose, through the medicine Yoga.
