Thank you for the opportunity to go on this trip and to be at Spring Training in Okinawa. It was very well organized. I will mention only the things that I think could be improved. I think Trevor's involvement really was an essential part of the trip because he spent time talking with us and adding his knowledge about the teams that we were about to view. In addition, his first-hand experience in Okinawa and its people made the trip even more special. Once he left, the spark that he added was gone. I felt like we became a small group of foreigners to be kindly taken places but the opportunity to learn about where we were going - except for the excellent tour guide on Monday - was gone. Fuji and Takahiro were very helpful when asked, but the opportunity to learn, other than by reading what we were provided, wasn't there. On the bus rides, rather than Trevor talking to us, the guides talked among themselves and the bus driver. I really feel it's important to have someone who adds to our experience of learning and seeing, rather than only a facilitator of movement and timetable. The other thing - is that it would have been helpful to have the itinerary a bit earlier than receiving it the night before I got on the plane. My sense was that it was difficult for you to confirm the trip details, which I can appreciate. Thanks so much, again, Shane!!!!

This trip provided a great opportunity to learn how the Japanese do spring training and experience Okinawa at the same time. A great combination of baseball and experiencing and learning about Okinawan culture and history. The hotel was very nice and located near dozens of excellent local restaurants. Highly recommended.

This was JapanBall's first trip to Japanese teams' spring training camps on Okinawa, and it went very well. The tour was very well organized, and everything went on time, but it didn't feel like we were constantly on the clock. Though the days were full, there remained enough time to do things on your own. The spring camps felt like those in the U.S. felt many years ago before they became highly commercialized - i.e., relaxed and low key The tour also gave us opportunities to learn about Okinawan history and culture, the latter of which shares some similarities but also differences with mainland Japan. I definitely recommend this tour.

The DR 2023 trip far exceeded my expectations as it was a great balance between local culture, food, baseball, and Dominican baseball culture. Shane did an incredible job of meeting everyone's baseball interest and was able to provide each person their unique experience while we all were on the group tour, that is no easy feat especially with each person coming from different areas of the US. I can honestly say Shane successfully shared his love of food and DR baseball with us and it shows because I was able to walk away with my heart full, and thankful for the experience. I would do this tour again in the future, more because of the friendships formed within the JapanBall family (oh and to eat delicious food and watch more baseball in a warmer climate).

This was my fourth trip with JapanBall (See it All in 2019, Dominican Republic 2021, Part of West Coast Tour 2022), and - like the others - it was very interesting and extremely well run. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the tour people were very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the country in general and baseball in particular. Though the trip was planned around baseball, historical and cultural things were also woven into the daily agenda, so we got some idea of what the country and culture are like. It was more than simply dropping in to see some games and then going home. It's good, too, that JapanBall works to support local businesses and organizations. The trip was fun and an excellent value.
