Celebrate the harvest and the changing of the seasons at Red Clover Ranch, nestled among black cabins, blazing trees, and the soft folds of Wisconsin’s Driftless hills. As autumn turns the land to gold and ember, we gather to slow down, listen inward, and set our intentions for the coming season before we move toward a new year.
Come howl into the dark fall night and see yourself in the stars, reconnecting to your own center and to something larger than yourself. Find stillness and silliness, softness and silence, frankness and beauty.
As the seasons change, we ask what wants to change within us. We move our bodies, still our minds, open our hearts, and walk ourselves home—and we walk beside one another as we do.
Over four days, we weave yoga, meditation, and spacious rest with the elements of the ranch: fiery fall colors, hot sauna sessions, cold plunges in the biodynamic pool, and long, exhale-filled walks under the canopy of trees and undulating hills. We share sustainable farm-to-table meals, lovingly prepared from local, seasonal ingredients by Dani and the Red Clover kitchen, nourishing the body as we tend the heart.
Ritual & creative practice
Together, we create “shields” — personal totems made from intention and collaged images — as physical reminders to carry our prayers and commitments home. We work within an ancient matrix, a living framework I’ve been in relationship with for over a decade, to ground our visions in something timeless and true. Our shield ceremony will culminate in a bonfire and Saturday night dance party, giving our prayers and intentions a chance to move, sing, and breathe out under the open sky.
This practice invites you to meet the changing season with clarity and courage, so your inner landscape can align with the turning of the land around you.
Who this is for
This retreat is for over-achievers, creatives, and caretakers who are ready to set something down and remember what it feels like to be held. It’s for anyone longing for a meaningful pause: a chance to rest, reflect, and move into the next season with more intention, whether you are navigating big transition, quiet burnout, or a subtle nudge that something in you wants to change. You don’t need to be an advanced practitioner; openness, curiosity, and a willingness to participate are enough.
What to bring
We bring ourselves (all of ourselves), our slippers, favorite clothes, a special pen, and something small to contribute: a poem, a painting, words of wisdom, cookies—whatever feels like a true reflection of who we are.
You may also want layers for cool fall weather and comfortable shoes for walking the grounds and trails.
Travel & logistics
Red Clover Ranch is located in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, in the Driftless region of the upper Midwest. Transportation to and from the ranch is not included, and travel insurance is recommended.
Nestled in a valley on 79 acres of woodland and pasture, Red Clover Ranch is a place where community, creativity, and nature come together. Cozy cabins, a Japanese- and Scandinavian-inspired bathhouse, and a lovingly restored barn create a welcoming container for deep rest and connection.
From sauna and outdoor shower to biodynamic water and night skies, the land itself becomes part of the practice. Meals are seasonal, farm-to-table, and sourced from local growers in the Driftless region, a landscape known for its organic farms, wild beauty, and unglaciated ridges and valleys.
Dani deserves a paragraph of her own. Her food doesn’t just nourish the body — it feeds the soul, each bite bright with the joy and immense love she pours into it. You can almost hear her spinning tales of sun‑drenched backroads and motorbike adventures as you savor every mouthful, each dish a story of where she’s been and what she’s bringing to the table.
As the days soften into evening, we gather near the red barn — its warm glow against the twilight — to reflect, integrate, and honor the circle we’ve created. Surrounded by trees, cabins, and open sky, this retreat invites you to come home to yourself and to the land, held between the turning of the leaves and the small, bright revival of what wants to live in you.
Paige Loczi is a yoga teacher, designer, and former dancer who has spent decades exploring how space, movement, and ritual can help us feel more like ourselves. She is a catalyst for alignment who creates safe, spacious containers for exploration, release, and remembering — places where we can lay something down, listen more closely, and choose what we want to call in next. In her classes and retreats, Paige weaves Yin and Vinyasa, meditation, and thoughtful inquiry to support nervous system regulation and gentle yet meaningful change for over‑achievers, creatives, and caretakers.
