Tuvimos una gran experiencia! Cómoda habitación, excelentes tours. Nos encantó el paseo en helicóptero sobre las cataratas de Iguazú y acercarnos en bote a las cataratas, todo fue una experiencia inolvidable. Excelentes guías, siempre a tiempo y extra amables.

I have booked lots of tours in Buesnos Aires for a week and everything else went good except this tour. This tour on the website said $70 - $75 but the MONS Hostel charged me $140 while claiming that they are not paid any commissions from the agency. The only email I got for this "INTERNATIONAL" tour from Madero Viagens is the acknowledgement to my payment few days before the tour as I booked all tours on the day I joined MONS Hostel, and the Hostel sent me the "Receipt" for the payment with multiple pages mostly in "Spanish", and lastly an email from Madero Viagens for writing a good review for them. I had no instructions sent from Madero Viagens or the hostel on what needs to be done the day before or the beginning of the day on Sunday, while I got Whatsapp updates for all the other tours including "Free Walking Tours". I was ready for this tour on last Sunday waiting at reception one hour before the tour time of 8.30 am. Close to 8.30 am, I reached out to reception and then they said that I had to go to Puerto Madero as the transport was not included. With "International" tours like these where Immigration has to happen, we would expect some information on documents needed and the time and place to meet to be informed a day before, or stressed at the time of booking either by the Agency or by the Hostel people doing the booking. Bottom line, I was waiting for them at MONS Hostel at 8.30 am and hence couldn't join the tour. The MONS hostel takes zero responsibility as they say they had not taken any commission for doing the bookig, and I did not book with the agency Madero Viagens directly. Hostel guys reached out to the agency and told me that I had lost $140 I paid for the tour which is mainly because of "Lack of proper" communication either from the Agency or the Hostel. For me, it looks like a scam of first charging $140 for a $75 tour and then not sending any specific instructions even though both had my Whatsapp and email. My suggestion - for Colonia trip, NEVER GO WITH Madero Viagens or MONS Hostel (ONLY for booking this tour as the other tours the hostel handled were great with many pick ups from the Hostel).
