Very bad experience. First, the day before the trip, I requested to change date, as I was not feeling well. They didn’t even bother to reply, so I didn’t know what to do and I was forced to onboard the bus in the end, as the guy informed me that cancellation is not allowed. I completely regret paying 50$ for a trip that not only costs maximum 15$ if someone goes with train to Tigre, but also given the fact that the river tour offered is the same as all tourists take in Tigre. We were not able to hear anything in the boat, and once in Puerto de Frutos, we had only 30 min to go around, definitely not enough to enjoy anything. Last, while on the return, the guy informed us that we had 3 options only to get off, across Avenida 9 de Julio. In the brochure, it was mentioned pick up and return to your own hotel. All in all, one gains nothing of choosing this trip that could justify such a price.

Terrible experience with Madero Viagens. I would give negative stars if that were possible. We provided all our documents in advance, and the agency explicitly confirmed that we were allowed to travel to Uruguay with our U.S. residency. Based on that confirmation, they sold us a tour to Colonia del Sacramento and sent a payment link via WhatsApp. However, when we arrived at the ferry terminal, immigration officials informed us that we were NOT allowed to leave Argentina with our documents. This means the agency gave us incorrect information just to make the sale. When we contacted them, they refused to take responsibility or issue a refund. Instead, we were left with a ruined experience and a financial loss. Even more concerning, Uruguayan immigration officials told us that this is not an isolated case — they have seen multiple tourists affected by the same situation with this agency. Dahiana was the one who confirmed we could travel, and Lourdes handled the situation afterward with a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability. This situation constitutes a clear breach of contract and deceptive practices, which are regulated under Argentina’s Consumer Protection Law (Law 24.240). An irresponsible agency that misinforms tourists, prioritizes sales over accuracy, and refuses to take responsibility for their actions. I do NOT recommend Madero Viagens. Be very careful — they may provide incorrect information and keep your money without accountability. 🚫 EDIT: In their response, they essentially confirmed that even knowing we couldn’t travel, they still proceeded with the sale. This only reinforces the seriousness of the situation. Multiple travelers have reported the same experience.
