About this trip

Join us for a fun and educational day trip to Drumheller, Alberta’s famous dinosaur capital and home to some of Canada’s most stunning natural landscapes!

Departing from the University of Alberta, this full-day adventure takes you into the heart of the Badlands, where prehistoric wonders and dramatic scenery await. Explore the incredible Royal Tyrrell Museum, world-renowned for its impressive collection of dinosaur fossils and engaging exhibits. You'll have time to wander at your own pace, take in the jaw-dropping displays, and even watch paleontologists at work in the fossil lab. We’ll also make a stop at the breathtaking Horsethief Canyon, where you can admire panoramic views of layered rock formations and deep valleys shaped by millions of years of erosion — a must-see photo opportunity! A boxed lunch is included, so you can relax and enjoy your meal amidst the natural beauty of Drumheller. The day wraps up with a relaxing ride back to Edmonton, filled with memories of ancient creatures and awe-inspiring landscapes.
