This 2-day training will take place over a 3-hour session on Saturday and Sunday.

Sessions will be recorded and released with 72 hours to allow participants to make up any missed segment.

-How to host a high-quality event for your community

-Zoom room etiquette & best practices

-Challenges & opportunities of going online

-Promoting your dance

•For DJs: 

-How to play sets online (using Livesets, Twitch, Mixcloud or Mixlr)

-Setting up your audio in Zoom

-Working with event organizers

-Troubleshooting

•Session will include classes, dance breaks, break-out groups & a Q&A session

SUNDAY MARCH 28: OUTDOORS

-Finding the perfect location for your dance

-Open air etiquette & best practices

-Challenges & opportunities of outdoor dances

-Choosing your gear: silent disco headsets vs amplified music

-Our mistakes & what we wished we had known

•Session will include classes, dance breaks, break-out groups & a Q&A session

Q&A

→ If I can't make the live training, can I still register to get access to the recordings? Yes absolutely! Videos of the recorded sessions will be uploaded within 72 hours and links will be sent to all registered participants.

→ Will this training cover DJing? We don't cover DJ techniques or theory in this series, but we will teach DJs how to go online and livestream music.

→ For how long will the recordings be available? The videos will be uploaded on Vimeo (password-protected) and available for a period of 60 days after the training ends.

→ What's your cancellation policy? In case of cancellation from your side, we don't offer any refunds, no matter the reason.
