Everyone's seen Dubai as this melting pot of glamour, skyscrapers, luxury, sports cars etc but does anyone know that Dubai 's own population has 85% people who have foreign origins? 

Dubai does draw a picture of being this oil rich Emirate which may seem superficial but its culturally soo rich!  As someone who frequently travels and has seen most of the world, Dubai is a mix of all of that. Sure, its gorgeous, but we don't believe in charging anyone $5-$6k for a cultural experience trip which is what we would have had to charge at some of these places!  
Most of the trips I've been too were really spontaneous when I went backpacking! 

Used to spend like 3k-4k easy and even agents would rip you off when things like meals or any activities/excursions were NOT included in previous packages! We didn't think that was fair or even remotely accessible to so many of our explorers so we waited. And waited. And waited. 

I just ADORE the Immigrant spirit of these AMAAAZZINGGG people! They're never down. Wisdom, love and friendliness galores here because practically everyone's from a different country or a continent! Most of my best friends are from here and the best convos started with "So, where are you from?"

Interested in exploring a much more Zen Dubai? Lets get to the nitty gritty shall we?

So this is what we came up with and this is only one of our many chill-fun-to-do-things-around-dubai-on-a-budget thingies!

Pick up and drop:
In my touring days, I loved being picked up and dropped from the airport, some folks might not but i did! If you fancy a pick up, we will cover that too! Its just so chill isn't it? :)  

Pick up and drop from the airport  - Day 1

Head to the Dhow (boat) and experience the lovely cruise at night and get dinner! - Day 1

An heartfelt farewell! We'll drop you to the airport and miss you a lot :')  - Day 5 

Day 1 - The Welcome!

Love this day! So we'll meet you at the airport, could rant to us about the heat as soon as you've landed and we'll be like "yup, we're in the same boat" - (Dhow Cruise pun) and then we'll take you to your hotel. Later on after you've chilled and settled, we'll pick you up at dinner time around 7 and take you for the Dhow cruise!

The Dhow Cruise: You'll get to experience Emirati hospitality first hand. You'll be greeted with some lovely welcome drinks on us and would be welcomed aboard the cute restored Dhow (boat) and will sail off and experience the amazing creek on a two hour ride! Its really zen and calming and you'll get to experience the old and new Dubai as we sail through Diera (see told ya you weren't far from the fun stuff!) and Bur Dubai! Dinner will consist of some really classy Arabian dishes with some great Middle Eastern desserts! If you've got a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat! On board, we'll also see the Tanura dance and some live music, could get your own groove on if you feel like it too hey!

Day 2 - you could potentially head to the city? Most of the fun places are within each other, if you've gone for a three star (3*) hotel, then your best bet is Diera which has some lovely outdoorsy cafes and the Irish Village which has some amazing Irish pubs! Not into pubs? could go to the Al Mamzar Beach to beat the heat!

The Desert Escape:  This is the really wicked bit of the trip! We'll pick you up at 3 from your hotel and we'll head directly to the desert (Dubai's a desert but this is the desert desert haha!). So we'll head to the Desert in our Land Cruiser and experience Dune Bashing (these drivers are proper Adrenalin junkies but we'll make sure they don't go overboard!). After our fun filled Dune bashing, we'll head to a campsite where we'll enjoy a some tea, (could be a pint of beer!), traditional food, cultural dance, belly dances, quad biking and you can also get Henna prints! If you fancy trying the Arabian Outfit called Thope, you can too! We'll get pictures for you if you're not into selfies haha! All in all, the sunset is literally one of the best moments of this escape. Its absolutely wonderful (a bit like the twin suns from Star Wars but without an extra sun hahaha)!

If you've picked the four star option (4*), you can  also go to the above places as well since the 4* hotel (Ramada) is in Diera too! :D

Day 3 - You could let us know if you'd fancy a Shop-Till-You-Drop-Mall-Hop (We're proud of this term ;) ) and we'll take you there! Dubai's got LOADS of Malls and one of the 5th largest Mall in the world - which has an indoor ice rink, we can't get more extra and chill than that hey!

Day 3 - Fountain show and the Burj Khalifa light show (that fountain show is one of my all time fav things here in Dubai, its absolutely sooo pretty!) and they're in the Dubai Mall so they're FREE!

Day 4 - Al Bastakiya has an amazing street art, a coffee museum,  art galleries,  an indie cafe called the "Make Art Cafe", you'll also be able to get a one Dirham  boat ride, thats 27 cents (See told ya Dubai has loads of undiscovered things and can be cheap!!). We'll also go to the Souks (small markets)  taking you from one side of the Creek (textiles souk) to the other side (Gold and Spice Souk).   I’ve been told most of the locals prefer to go to an actual supermarket than shop here. If nothing else, it’s an interesting place to take in the sights and smells, stare at some weird gold jewellery you’ll never be able to afford (or hopefully want, because they’re just so intriguing), and see how many celebrities you get labelled as. 

This, as well as just throwing merchandise at you and hoping you catch it (no backsies!) or attempting to fashion a scarf into a noose and strangle you with it as you wander past, is the best game they’ve got! Its proper banter!

Day 5 - depending on your flight times, we'll sadly drive you too the airport/coach station/train station and let you know how much we enjoyed your company and visit and would really hope to see you again! :') 

Awh darn, so you've got to cancel for some reason, that's a bummer but we'll give you your full money and the deposit back if cancel 3 days before the trip!
