Known for its bohemian charm, Galway blends old-world traditions with youthful creativity. Its colorful streets are filled with music, art, and festivals, while its location along the Wild Atlantic Way offers access to Ireland’s most stunning landscapes. Stroll through the historic Latin Quarter, see the colorful Long Walk, and visit the medieval Spanish Arch. Galway celebrates tradition at every turn, whether you're savoring seafood by the harbor or spotting Galway hooker boats on the River Corrib.
The adventure continues with a day trip to Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands. Step back in time among ancient forts like Dún Aonghasa, perched on dramatic Atlantic cliffs, in a place where Irish is still spoken.
