Visit the most famous and historic sports arena in Dublin. Home to Ireland's Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Croke Park is steeped in History and tradition. The tour can include a "Skyline" tour if you like the idea of ziplining across the top of an arena (subject to availability). 

Ardgillan Castle - Although referred to as a Castle, the residence at Ardgillan is a large country-styled house with castellated embellishments. Originally named “Prospect House”, the central section was built in 1738 by Robert Taylor, with the west and east wings added in the late 1800s.

The Castle has now been restored and the ground floor rooms and kitchens are open to visitors for guided tours.

Skerries Mills - Since the 12th century flour has been milled at this unique location. The fully restored complex brings to life the authentic workings of a five sail windmill, four sail windmill, water mill and bakery of the 1800’s. This provides the visitor with examples of how wind and water energies were harnessed by our ancestors. 

Newgrange  - A Stone Age (Neolithic) monument in the Boyne Valley, County Meath, Ireland. It is the jewel in the crown of Ireland's Ancient East. Newgrange was constructed about 5,200 years ago (3,200 B.C.) which makes it older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Giza. Newgrange is a large circular mound 85m (279ft) in diameter and 13m (43ft) high with a 19m (63ft) stone passageway and chambers inside. The mound is ringed by 97 large tones, some of which are engraved with symbols called megalithic art. 

Battle of the Boyne Centre -  Visit The Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre in the recently restored 18th century Oldbridge House on the banks of the River Boyne. Learn the story of one of the most important battles in Irish history. See models of the battle brought to life through narration and lasers showing the cunning guile of the victors. Plan your visit around the historical reenactments where guides dress up in replica costumes and recreate the famous battle. 

TItanic Belfast -  Located beside the Titanic Slipways, the Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices and Hamilton Graving Dock – the very place where Titanic was designed, built and launched, Titanic Belfast tells the story of Titanic from her conception, through her construction and launch, to her maiden voyage and subsequent place in history. Time to explore Belfast on your own! Your Tara Tours Ireland experts will be available to offer suggestions or answer questions.  

Your Time - You will be brought to your hotel, and then have the rest of the day to explore beautiful Belfast.

Giants Causeway -  Follow in the legendary footsteps of giants at Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site.  Flanked by the wild Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs, for centuries the Giant’s Causeway has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it. 

Bushmills Distillery -  GRANTED A LICENSE TO DISTILL IN 1608, BUSHMILLS IS THE OLDEST LICENSED WHISKEY DISTILLERY IN THE WORLD. Along the north coast of Ireland, where arctic storms rage against the jagged cliffs and where the crisp waters of the River Bush cut through volcanic rock, generations have passed down an ancient distilling tradition.

The charming medieval village of Carlingford is situated on the East coast of Ireland, in the heart of the Cooley Peninsula, at the foot of Slieve Foy and overlooking the Mourne mountains. Located halfway between the cities of Belfast and Dublin, visitors will encounter a hub of heritage and folklore. 

Bread Baking Demonstration (optional) -  Enjoy a hands on breadbaking demonstration at a family home in County Down. Based in Comber, County Down on the shores of Strangford Lough, Tracey Jeffrey has a beautiful traditional cottage where she provides a traditional Irish bread making experience. The session starts with a traditional Irish Fruit Soda Cake, a sweet treat and delicious with lots of homemade Irish butter. While the Fruit Soda Cake is baking in the stove oven, guests will make some potato bread (or fudge as it is known locally). 

You will be picked up from your hotel in Carlingford and brought to Dublin Airport to catch your return flight home.
