Welcome to Ireland! Our local guide will meet you at the airport for your transfer to Dublin and check-in to your hotel. 

This morning after breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour. See Dublin Castle, Merrion Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Phoenix Park. Visit Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland, founded in 1592, and the alma mater of Samuel Beckett, Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde, among others. The exhibition area of the college displays the famous Book of Kells and other illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages. B

After breakfast, journey to the countryside to visit the Rock of Cashel and Blarney Castle so you can “kiss” the famed Blarney Stone. One of the most spectacular archeological sites in Ireland, it sits on the outskirts of Cashel on a large mound of limestone, bristling with ancient fortifications. Mighty stone walls encircle a complete round tower, a roofless abbey, and a 12th-century Romanesque chapel. The Rock of Cashel is composed of four structures: The Hall of the Vicars Choral, the cathedral, the round tower, and Cormac’s Chapel. On your return to Dublin, visit Cork City. B

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then spend the day discovering all of Dublin with your 24-hour Hop On Hop Off bus pass. Appease yourself with the rich Irish culture in this grand capital city. The region, with its magnificent Irish hues, has the Midas touch of the lost Viking culture. The city exhales the breath of medieval Europe with spectacular cathedrals and churches. With over 30 stops, hop off and explore the city at its best rhyme through the pubs and gardens and castles. On your day to explore, visit the famous Dublin Castle.  B

Transfer to the airport for your one-way flight to London. Upon arrival, transfer to the city for a half-day guided tour of London to include a visit the renowned Westminster Abbey and its Poet’s Corner where over 100 poets and writers are buried or have memorials.  B

On this morning’s guided walking tour of the city, watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, walk “The Mall”  through St. James Park, see the famous 10 Downing Street and other highlights. At the proper time today, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. Later, visit the British Museum, their remarkable collection spans over 2 millions years of human history and culture, see the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon Sculptures and Egyptian Mummies. B

After breakfast, use your tube and bus pass to the official Shakespeare’s Globe Workshop. Tour the Exhibition & Theater, a wonderful re-creation of the bard’s original playhouse built in 1599 where there are no spotlights, microphones, speakers or amplification and all music is performed on live instruments. As part of the Workshop, spend one hour based on any Shakespeare play of your choice with one of the Practitioners. B

At the hotel, enjoy breakfast, then head to the Tower of London with your tube and bus pass. Visit the historic castle off the north bank of the River Thames. Experience this majestic piece of history that was founded during the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 (with an audio guide.) B
