      Early bird trip

      During our early bird tour,  starting from the tourist port of San Juan del Sur, we will sail up the coast to anchor in a sheltered and secluded bay, where you will have the opportunity to swim, hang out, and partake in other activities on the beautiful white sand beach. As we sail back to SJDS you will have a really good chance to see dolphins, turtles, and whales, as well as lots of other wildlife.


      We promise that your Salt experience will be one of the highlights of your time in Nicaragua!


      We start boarding at 7:45 AM from the tourist port in the floating docks right in front of Dockside and Tuanis bar. The trip is about 4 hours from the time we leave the bay until we come back at 12:00 PM

      SALT Sail was recommended to us as the best catamaran sailing experience in San Juan Del Sur. Our experience was nothing short of the best. Great sailors took us on an awesome all day sail where we saw wildlife including tuna, flying fish, sea turtles, dolphins, and whales all up close to our boat. The fresh food, juice and drinks prepared were delicious. They graciously honored every request we had including finding a surf break for us to surf, anchoring in a calm bay to swim and staying out for the sunset at the end of a long sail! We would recommend SALT to anybody. Cheers, and thank you SALT Sail!

      Everyone needs a catamaran cruise on holidays! That's a fact. We were thrilled to get one for adults only... which is exactly what it should be called. It was called a DJ cruise - and it shouldn't be as that's a little misleading. There was not a DJ. Simply "Adults Only" would be enough to attract the same crowd. The destination was awesome! The crew was too! The beverages were bottomless and perfectly cold! The description of the food served sounded like it should counter the copious amount of liquor we knew we would be drinking. It was not. Snacks are what they should've been called. All in all though.. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
