City Mountaineering 10-Year Anniversary Easter Adventure

Easter in the Lake District | 3–6 April 2026

Celebrate 10 years of adventure with us!

Join City Mountaineering this Easter for a very special hiking trip in the Lake District — returning to where it all began, a decade ago! We'll spend the Easter weekend exploring the fells from a truly unique base: the remote and beautifully isolated Skiddaw House Hostel, accessible only on foot.

Expect rugged beauty, star-filled skies, wild landscapes, and that signature City Mountaineering spirit. This trip is for those who want to mark a special milestone with a proper adventure, great company, and stunning views.

Trip Highlights:

  • Celebrate 10 years of City Mountaineering!
  • Stay 3 nights at Skiddaw House — the most remote hostel in England
  • Hike classic Lake District routes with a fun, supportive group
  • Experience true wilderness, away from crowds and roads
  • Enjoy a final day walk back to Keswick for a pub lunch before heading home

Whether you joined us on that first trip or you’re new to City Mountaineering, this is a chance to be part of a memorable chapter in our story.
