What is the Ecstatic DJ Camp?

We like to think of it as a DJ-centric 'choose-your-own-adventure'! Somewhere between a retreat and an intermediate-level DJ Training. Ecstatic DJ Camp is where we will find the balance between playing and learning. At Ecstatic DJ Camp you will get to choose whether you want to learn to scratch, take a tutorial on music production or hang out by the pool waiting for your chance to play a set. And this is only the beginning!!

This camp is for you if you are:

• An Ecstatic DJ who wants to up-level your skills with Master classes led by veteran Ecstatic DJs

• A skilled DJ who wants to understand the Ecstatic/Conscious dance way

• A musician with the desire to collaborate with Ecstatic DJ’s and producers

• An Ecstatic Dance ceremony leader or conscious dance teacher who wants to enhance your classes and up your music game

• A dancing music fan who wants to geek out with friends and DANCE

Registration to the DJ Camp includes:

• 4 DAYS/ 3 NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION

Choosing between camping, shared or private accommodation.

From morning until night there will be opportunities for learning . With each Support Team DJ creating a class in their own personal expertise.

• CHANCES TO RELAX 

Whether it be hanging out by the pool listening to a fellow participant play a set, going for a walk in the nature reserve or jamming in the live music space there will be ample opportunity to enjoy yourself.

• A ONE-ON-ONE SESSION

You will have the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one with your chosen DJ from the Support Team. This will give you that chance for personalized attention.

• PLAYING OUT OPPORTUNITIES

There will be slots to sign up to play by the pool and in the dance space.

• PANELS, FAQ’s, COMMUNITY DISCUSSIONS

Our goal is to build community! The environment a the Camp is one of collaboration. We encourage dialogue and sharing.

• YOGA + MEDITATION CLASSES

Rebalance the nervous system, remove physical blockages and get in flow with several unique classes throughout the week.

• ECSTATIC DANCE + DANCE CHURCH

There will be dancing everyday including a closing Dance Church held by Bernice on the Final Day.

• POOL + SAUNA + CAMPFIRES

Relax and renew with heat and water! 

We want you to leave this camp feeling like you have gained new tools, knowledge, friends and support. After the camp it is our hope that you return year after year to help grow the event and reconnect with each other.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

**You will need to be responsible for bringing your own D Controller and a other ear you want to practice/learn on. Aso pease bring any instruments you wish!!**

We will automatically set you up a two payment plan unless you pay in full. If you would like to make other payment arrangements please contact us and we can make you a personalized plan..**

On arrival day we will gather to get to know each other and to learn about  how the Camp works. This is when you will sign up for the classes you want to attend, for your  one on one lesson and enter the lottery to secure a playing-out slot should you want to DJ at the pool.

Please plan to arrive around midday to allow yourself time to settle in.

These two days will be packed with options for you to tailor your experience to meet your own tastes. You can  include as much technical learning as you can soak in and balance it with relaxing time to integrate by the pool or walking the trails in the Nature Preserve. There will be movement classes, discussion panels and much more. something for everyone.

On our final day we will come together for a dancing closing ritual. Plan to leave after lunch and give yourself plenty of time to make it back to the airport so that you can integrate your learning and experiences.
