About this trip

Experience one of the most BIODIVERSE countries in South America in the Ecuadorian Rainforest!

This personal development journey takes place in a life changing environment where you have the rare privilege of learning from the indigenous Sharamensa people.

This is an invitation only, cultural immersion experience where you can truly disconnect from the hectic world and be surrounded by the most inspiring nature.

Having travelled here over 3 times, Craig will guide you through the experience, helping you through coaching, meditation and visualisations.  We will also have the opportunity to practice yoga and enjoy the incredible food and activities of the area.

I had a truly amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Amazon Rainforest with Trek Ecuador. Marisa Endara was a perfect guide, nothing was too much trouble. Marisa is so knowledgeable, great fun, and always has an answer! I can't think of any way that the trip could be bettered. I will never forget this incredible experience.

Trek Ecuador is the best agency I have worked with in Latin America and particularly in Ecuador. Not only are they extremely professional, organising everything for us to the perfection; but also they were very good at giving us suggestions of the best activities and places to visit for our family. They made our trip smooth, safe, fun and adventurous! I recommend Trek Ecuador very warmly to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful and diverse Ecuador. Cécile

This adventure was spectacular! The Kapawi Lodge was amazing! Beautiful accommodations, wonder food with warm caring service. The Founders Journey was thoughtfully choreographed and personally transformative. The founders, guides and staff are loving committed allies with the indigenous people of the rain forest. I would highly recommend this journey! Tracie Jansen

As of this writing I've been back home in the San Francisco Bay Area for 36 hours, so this review is as fresh as it gets. Every individual experience combined to make this journey transformative. Experiences included bird watching, kayak rides, floating on the Kapawi River, tobacco and tea ceremonies, an overnight stay in the Achuar community in Wayusentza, and long hikes in the rain forests with our local guide Daniel Koupermann educating us about insects, flora, and fauna. The Kapawi Lodge and rain forests were absolutely beautiful. And the Pachamama's Founder's generosity with their knowledge and experiences were eclipsed by their kindness to our entire cohort. Lynne and Bill Twist, John Perkins, Sarah Vetter, Belen Paez, and Daniel Koupermann are all dynamic, dedicated, magnanimous, smart, and fun! And we were in great hands at the Kapawi Eco-Lodge with Celestine, Edwin, and Ramiro--all native Schuar--taking care of us. New insights keep wandering in to my psyche as I settle in to my comfortable environment. I'm forever new again. Rick Keefer, San Rafael California August 2024
