This trip was beyond expectations. Our guide, Rubin, was great. He gave us history and traditions and a great understanding of the area. The food was good. The taco crawl was very fun. Carli gave us good information on birds and plants. The butterflies were magical! Anyone considering this trip should DO IT.

Great trip: Reefs to Rockies is very organized, gave us info needed, including a suggested packing list and access to the itinerary through the cell phone app MyTrips - very helpful. Hotels, transportation, guides - all good. I liked the fact that meals were included. Visits to two monarch viewing sites were well planned - first day was good, but there were many other visitors and monarchs were quite a distance from where we were. The second day a much less well known site, no other visitors, and we were very close to the trees where the colonies were - spectacular: kudos to Ruben from Hola Colega for finding this site.

We’re so glad to hear that you found the trip well organized and appreciated the advance information, packing guidance, and easy access to your itinerary via the MyTrips app. It’s also great to know that the accommodations, transportation, guides, and included meals all contributed positively to your overall experience. We’re pleased that the visits to the monarch sanctuaries offered two distinct and rewarding experiences, and that the second day in particular was memorable. Moments like that, when everything comes together in a truly spectacular way, are exactly what we hope to create. Thank you for traveling with Reefs to Rockies and for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you on another journey in the future.

We were treated with wonderful accommodations, tasty and interesting foods, and a wonderful cultural/historical description and tour of Mexico City. The taco tour was great fun. Trips to the forests, though challenging, were a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My breath was taken away by experiencing so closely the sights/flights of the monarchs. The introduction to what we were about to experience on our second day in the sanctuaries by our local guide was reverential and spiritual. Our other guides were knowledgeable and couldn't have been more helpful.

It’s wonderful to know that the accommodations and meals enhanced the journey, and that the taco tour added a fun and flavorful dimension to your time in the city. We’re especially touched by your description of the monarch experience itself. The reverence and sense of awe you felt is exactly what we hope guests take away from this extraordinary encounter. We’re glad our local guide and the rest of the guiding team helped create a supportive, insightful, and memorable experience throughout.
