About your trip
Embark on this four-day journey through Ecuador's stunning highlands, exploring volcanic peaks, cloud forest, and alpine valleys. Each day features a unique trek highlighting the country's incredible natural diversity and cultural charm. Accomodations are in a comfortable hostel setting where three meals a day are provided.
What's included
Lodging
Three nights of shared room Accomodations are included. Single room accommodations can be added for additional charge ($315 USD).
Food
Three hot meals with local produce are provided each day
Transportation
Transportation from to and from Quito Included. Post trip accommodations to airport can be arranged. Alternative locations will incur additional charge.
Local Guides
Local mountain guides will assist in every trek. Gratuities for daily mountain guides are covered.
Mountain hikes & permits
All permits & daily rates for summiting peaks are covered
What's not included
Airfare
Airfare to and from Quito is not covered
Alcohol & Drinks
All drinks or alcohol at the hostel will be paid for individually.
personal items
Any snacks, personal items, or sovuneirs will be independently covered.
Insurance
Travel insurance is not included. This will need to be purchased individually.
Gratuity for guides
You will have one or two trip guides who will be facilitating the trip. Gratuities for these guides are not included. An industry standard tip of 15-20% of total trip is common if you enjoyed.
Pre&Post Trip lodging
Any lodging pre or post trip will be on your own.
Transportation
Any transportation not to Quito (i.e Banos, Cuenca, etc.) additional fees can be arranged for additional fee
Day 1
Arrival to Andes
We will meet in Quito where we will meet fellow travelers and depart to our accomodations for the next three evenings. This journey will take us to the Andes where we will have a hot lunch. After lunch we will leave right from our doorstep and do a short waterfall hike on property where we get to experience a mix of jungle and mountains and help acclimitize us to altitude. We will arrive back to the hostel where we will settle in and have our first group dinner.

Day 2
Rumiñahui Volcano
An early morning will lead us into Cotopaxi National Park where we get to explore the rugged slopes of Rumiñahui. This striking peak offers sweeping views of Cotopaxi's snow- capped summit and the high altitude plains that stretch below. A great day for adventure and photography. We will conclude back at the hostel where we can relax, hit the hot tub and share a group dinner.

Day 3
Sincholagua
Today we will start before sunrise where we will venture along quieter paths for a remote and peaceful mountain experience. This will involve some climbing to the summit for those that are willing to push a littler further for breath taking views. Prior experience is not necessary.

Vertical Gain: 1200M
Elevation start: 3600
Day 4
Pasochoa Volcano
For our last day, we will leave right from the doorsteps to the summit of Pasochoa. Taking private trails we will hike up an extinct volcano surrounded by vibrant Andean vegetation. We will wonder through misty forest and take in panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. After we return for our last lunch, we will take transportation back to Quito where we will conclude our trip.
