Arrival
We pick you up at the airport to take you to Finca Soley. We can accomodate every time to pick you up. If you are already at a different place in the country we can arrange a different pickup location as well.

After you settled in one of our program coordinators will meet you to plan out the week. Each week is planned individually. You will reveive a set of lessons in the topic you choose. Theory lessons. And have a set of tours that you can choose from our tour section together with the other group members.

You can take a walk to explore the farm and meet the horses.

Dinner will be served around 6pm and we appreciate if we have all needed information in case that you follow a specific diet.

If arrival is at night you will be bought to your room by the driver and we will meet you the next day.

Day 2
Introduction
We start the day with breakfast at the community house at 8 am. Here you will meet the other guests and volunteers living ar Finca Soley.

At breakfast you will recieve your plan to see the lessons schedule and tous.

All about learning? Bring your notebook and take a seat next to the arena to observe the lessons and training. We kinldy ask to stay calm and keep questions for after the lessons/ training.

Lunch will be shared between the Finca Soley community at 12 midday. A great moment to recall the learned things and process.

After lunch you might head out to a tour chooses or have a theory lesson. Depending the choiced you made.

Day 3 - 6
Learning, Exploring and Relaxing
Improve your communication skills with your horse. Learn to ride in balance or gain a better understaning of the animal horse and its body.

Enjoy the beauty of the lush green Costa Rica mountains during our beautiful nature and cultre tours.

Deepen your understanding during the theoy lessons.

And enjoy your time relaxing and listing to the sounds of the jungle.

Departure
Depending your flight we will take you to the airport. Departure is between 5 and 6 hourse before your flight.

If your flight is in the evening you can book an extra lesson (depends availabilty).

Day 1

Arrival

I had such an amazing time. The location is gorgeous and very relaxing, the horses are really well taken care of and friendly and Isa and her family make such wonderful hosts. My goal with this retreat was to get better at riding (I'm a beginner), learn more about horses and also to get away from the NYC craziness and this was just perfect. Every day had just the right amount of activity and down time. The food was humble and yummy (I usually have stomach problems and had no issues at all the whole week). I would definitively come back!

I had to come back it was so good here at Finca Soley! Very comfortable accommodations, wonderful experienced and kind riding instructor. Isa’s empathetic and positive vibe is everywhere on this retreat. She meets your riding skills where you are, helps you advance forward at a comfortable pace and manages to make everything work so nicely! Yoga with the gentle teachers are a great way to start each day. Milton has such a wide skill set and is especially knowledgeable about medicinal plants. The whole family is a joy to be around! Highly recommended!

My first solo trip was an unforgettable experience. I gained so many beautiful and interesting insights and am grateful that I was able to have this experience. What a wonderful paradise up in the mountains of Costa Rica. At Finca Soley, all buildings on site are hand built with local materials and Isla's designers touch! Just loved the set up, the early morning yoga rituals, riding after breakfast, long walks on property. Not enough can be said about the well trained, beautiful happy horses. The lessons were well thought out with lots of challenges. The last day experiencing the art of liberty topped the trip off! The best cooked and fresh food, so plentiful I know I gained weight while there! The experience was just so appreciative, I very much needed the break from work and Isla and the entire family were so nice and accommodating! It was hard to leave.
