If you've been looking for a sign to pack your bags, book a flight, and take the trip of a lifetime with a group of like-minded people, this is it.
We're hosting an all women group trip to Egypt in September, and it's going to be pretty incredible. What other trip can you go on and visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world (and even go inside it) + go to a second site where another one of the ancient wonders used to stand?
Here's what we want you to know before you scroll any further: We have done the hard part for you. Your airport transfers, hotel accommodations, all site admission tickets, your domestic flights, transportation between sites, most meals (and tips!) — all of it is handled.
You only have to figure out one logistic - getting yourself to Cairo. And then we take it from there for the next 8 days.
What you're getting is not a generic group tour where you're herded through sites with forty strangers and a flag on a stick (EW!). This is an intentionally small group of women traveling together with a licensed Egyptologist who has spent 31 years bringing Egypt to life for travelers.
This trip is 8 days and 7 nights through Cairo, Alexandria, and the Red Sea. You'll spend four nights based out of a luxury villa in Cairo that most people don't even know exist. This will be our home base for exploring the city and a day trip to the ancient city of Alexandria. Then we'll fly to Sharm el-Sheikh for three nights at a 5-star resort, where the agenda is simple: Red Sea, sunshine, and whatever pace feels right to you. It's the perfect blend of Egyptian history and modern day culture + a little bit of R&R at the beach, because you deserve it.
We hosted our first women's Egypt group trip earlier this year. Almost every single guest cried at some point during the trip from joy. Not from being overwhelmed or homesick or overstimulated but from the specific feeling you get when you're standing somewhere you've dreamed about and you realize you actually made it. That you actually did this.
We won't lie to you: Egypt is a lot. It's loud and layered and overwhelming and it is so much more than the pyramids — though yes, you will absolutely stand next to the pyramids and feel something you cannot fully describe to someone who hasn't been there. It's also the history of Coptic Cairo tucked inside the chaos of the city. It's eating some of the best seafood you've ever had by the Mediterranean in Alexandria. It's the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is so massive and so extraordinary that it's hard to comprehend it all. It's a hectic market where you haggle for something handmade and walk away feeling more connected to the place than any souvenir could explain. It's a farewell dinner where you look around the table at the women you've spent the week with and realize how precious (& freaking awesome!) life is.
You don't have to be an experienced traveler. You don't have to have anyone to come with. You just have to be the kind of woman who is open to new places, new people, and a version of yourself that tends to show up when you get outside the life you've built at home.
Egypt is waiting. We'll handle the rest.
This trip is for women who show up with curiosity, kindness, and an open heart. We're intentional about the community we build and we expect every guest to treat fellow travelers and the people we encounter along the way with genuine respect.
We celebrate our differences here. We do not tolerate bigotry, discrimination, or unkindness of any kind — toward fellow guests, toward locals, toward anyone. If you're here to make new friends, experience something that will genuinely change you, and treat the world and its people with the care they deserve then you'll feel right at home.
And because we don't avoid the elephant in the room — or the question you'll inevitably be asked the moment you tell someone you signed up for a trip to Egypt:
Is Egypt safe? What about everything happening in the Middle East?
Honest answer: we wish we could wave a magic wand and end the chaos happening in the region. We wish we had a crystal ball. We don't. What we do have is a genuine commitment to your safety, a local partner with 31 years of experience on the ground, and a track record of actually doing this.
We were in Egypt hosting a group trip in March 2026 and had zero issues. Not a single moment that gave us pause. Egypt has consistently maintained stability separate from the conflicts in neighboring regions, and Cairo is one of the most visited cities in the world with an enormous infrastructure dedicated to tourism and visitor safety.
Here's what we do to stay informed and keep you protected:
— We monitor travel advisories from the U.S. State Department and other government sources continuously in the lead-up to every trip.
— We stay in regular contact with our local partners on the ground in Egypt who give us real-time, firsthand perspective — not just headlines.
— We make decisions based on actual conditions, not noise. If something ever changed that genuinely compromised our safety, we would cancel the trip. Full stop.
— We have contingency plans. Things can always shift when you're traveling internationally and we plan for that.
That said, purchasing travel insurance & providing a copy prior to the trip is required — it protects your investment if something unexpected comes up and gives you peace of mind from the moment you book. We're happy to point you toward options if you need them.
We know life happens and we want to be as fair as possible while also protecting the integrity of the trip for everyone involved. Here's how it works:
The $500 deposit is nonrefundable.
Cancel 61+ days before the trip (on or before July 19, 2026): 25% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
Cancel 45–60 days before the trip (July 19 – August 4, 2026): 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
Cancel within 30 days of departure (August 19, 2026 or later): 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable.
We're best friends, travel partners, and the duo behind The Stickered Suitcase. And before you ask: no, we did not grow up together, we don't live in the same city, and our lives look pretty different from the outside. We met as coworkers in 2020 and spent the next three years working 90-hour weeks together getting Disney Studios movies back into production during Covid.
When we were laid off in 2023 we did the only logical thing & booked two weeks in Europe, exhaled for the first time in years, stopped being work friends and became actual best friends. We haven't really stopped traveling since.
Here's the thing about us: we genuinely don't make sense on paper. Kayla lives in a small town, is a mom, and could give you the full historical context of every room we walk into. Amanda moves states like most people change jobs and will find the best meal within two miles of anywhere on earth. One of us is a read every plague in a museum person. One of us is a get lost in nature person. And somehow every single trip we end up laughing until we cry — sometimes until we pee, we're not going to lie to you.
What we bring to every trip we host isn't a perfectly curated Instagram moment — it's a real experience, thoughtfully planned, with two people who genuinely love what they do and care deeply about every single woman who shows up.
Why We Started Hosting Trips
The honest answer is that we kept hearing the same thing from women in our community - they wanted to travel somewhere like Egypt but didn't have anyone to go with, or felt overwhelmed by the logistics, or just kept waiting for the right time that never seemed to come. And we thought: we can fix that.
We believe a single trip can genuinely change your life. Not in a cheesy motivational poster way but in a real, something shifts inside you way. It's happened to us, more than once & we've seen it happen in others. We hosted our first women's Egypt group trip earlier this year and watched strangers become friends by day two. We watched women who had dreamed about standing at the pyramids for years actually get there and completely lose it in the best possible way. Almost every single guest cried at some point during the trip, from joy or gratitude or something inside finally waking up & feeling alive again.
That's why we're doing this again. And that's why we want you there.
What You Can Expect From Us
We are planners. Both of us. The kind of people who have a spreadsheet and a backup plan and have already thought through the thing you're about to ask. When you travel with us you will always know what's happening, what's next, and who to come to if something feels off. You will never be left wondering.
We are also real people who will eat dinner with you, laugh with you, and be fully present for every moment of this trip, not just the logistics of it. We're not tour directors who disappear after the group departs. We're hosts who show up and stay.
And we are honest. If something on a trip isn't worth your time or money we will tell you. If there's a better option we will find it. What you see is what you get with us, and what you get is pretty great (if we do say so ourselves!).
A Few Things People Always Ask Us
Do I need to have traveled internationally before? Nope. We have had first time international travelers on our trips and they have an incredible time. That's actually part of why having a guide and a hosted experience is so valuable - you don't have to figure anything out on your own.
Will I feel out of place if I come solo? Absolutely not. Solo travelers are a huge part of what makes these trips work. You get to meet, hangout and explore with other women who want to experience the world like you do - so odds are you'll leave the trip with a new travel friend.
What if something goes wrong? Something small will probably go slightly sideways at some point - that's just travel. We plan for it, we handle it, and we don't make it a bigger deal than it needs to be. You will never be navigating an unexpected situation alone. We've got you.
How do I know this trip is right for me? If you've read this far and something in you is saying yes then that's your answer. The women who fit best on our trips are open minded, kind hearted, curious about the world, and ready to get outside the life they've built at home for a little while. If that sounds like you, you'll feel right at home with us.
