Confirmation and Flight Bookings

Once you have completed the online registration form and paid your initial deposit, a request will be sent to the service providers to confirm the hotel accommodations, domestic flights and touring. A confirmation email will be sent separately. Please do not purchase your international flights until you have received the confirmation email. If space is not available at the hotel, cruise or on the domestic flights in Egypt for your chosen date, you will be contacted with other available options, or you may opt to cancel your reservation with a full refund of your initial deposit.

Roundtrip transfers from the Cairo Airport to your hotel in the city center, including local representative. Transfers may be combined with others arriving/departing on the same flight.

4 Nights in a Deluxe Nile Room at the Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile Hotel.
4 Nights Nile Cruise
4 Nights in a standard cabin on the Steigenberger Minerva Nile cruise (or similar)
8 Meals in Cairo
4 Hotel buffet breakfasts and 4 hotel dinners in Cairo (Half Board).
All meals during cruise
All meals offered during the Nile Cruise (Full Board)
Cruise excursions
Group excursions offered during the Nile Cruise with licensed, English-speaking guides. Touring is shared with other cruise passengers.
3 Days Touring in Cairo
3 Days of touring in Cairo with licensed, English-speaking guides in private vehicles. Touring may be shared with other Scopia LLC clients.
Entrance Fees
Entrance fees are included according to sites listed in the tour itinerary.
Egypt Domestic Flights
Flights on Egypt Airways from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan to Cairo.
Visa to Egypt
Entry visa to Egypt is not included and can be purchased for $25 per person in cash on arrival (US citizens).

Day 1 - Tuesday
Arrival in Cairo.
Welcome to Egypt! After customs and immigration ($25 for visa), meet our local representative for a transfer to your hotel in the city center. Note: rooms may not be available until 3:00 PM. Dinner is included at the hotel. (D)
Day 2 - Wednesday
The Pyramids of Cairo, Memphis and Saqqara
After breakfast in your hotel, visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. Then, drive south outside of Cairo to visit Memphis and the Step Pyramids of Saqqara. Lunch on your own and dinner at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 3 - Thursday
Cairo to Luxor
Early in the morning check out of your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your local guide and driver to tour the local sites on the West Bank:
Valley of the Kings (3 tombs ticket)
Temple of Hatshepsut.
At the end of the tour, transfer to the cruise ship to check in for your cabin or suite.
Rest of the day is free to enjoy the cruise, including lunch and dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Friday
Day 5 - Saturday
Day 6 - Sunday
Aswan / Abu Simbel
Cruise excursions:
Abu Simbel by bus (4:00 AM, 3 hours each way)
Philae Temple by boat
Overnight on board the cruise. (B, L, D)
Day 7 - Monday
End Cruise. Aswan to Cairo / Old City of Cairo
Breakfast and check out of your cruise cabin. Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival, meet your guide and driver for touring in Cairo:
Lunch on own.
Old Cairo: three Churches & Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Evening dinner at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 8 - Tuesday
Grand Egyptian Museum
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, including a guided tour and free time to enjoy the museum independently for lunch and shopping in the Papyrus and perfume shops. Lunch on own and dinner at your hotel. (B, D)
Day 9 - Wednesday
Departure from Cairo
According to your flight time, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out of your hotel room. You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your departure flight. (B)
