It’s that funny holiday movie you end up watching every December and now it’s a splashy, peppy, sugar-sprinkled holiday musical.
It’s “Elf the Musical” and it’s presented live on the stage of the historic Bucks County Playhouse.
We’ll take you on this day trip on Thursday, Dec. 11 for a matinee performance following a lunch at the quaint Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant at Peddler’s Village.**
This music tells the story of Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity.
The luncheon at Peddler’s Village is a sit-down meal. Please make your dinner meal selection at the time of booking:
Meatloaf with a sweet glaze
Farfalle Toscano, pasta with peas, asparagus, parmesan and a garlic olive oil.
