About this trip

This all inclusive, week-long retreat is everything your inner child has been longing for.

Our intention is to provide a playful and joyful container for you to experience your innocence through a variety of activities, including shadow work--by exploring what gets in the way of being our most expressive, authentic self.  If you've been feeling disconnected from joy, play, or self-expression, this retreat is for you!

Activities throughout the week will include:

Ecstatic dance

Movement therapy

Tantric Breathwork

Group connection

Yoga

Rest and self care practices

Journal + self-reflection exercises

Massage and Reflexology

We will also be connecting to the land and culture, as a way to dive deeper into our own bodies in the following ways:

Honoring the land through visiting sacred Mayan ruins

Connection to Goddess Ixchel (Mayan goddess of birth, fertility, and the moon)

Deep healing through Temezcal ceremony ( Traditional Mayan sweat lodge)

This 7 day/6 night experience includes full meals/day, all gratuities, and the following schedule:

Daily morning movement practice, followed by group breakfast.

Afternoon teaching,  followed by lunch

Free time/Rest and integration, followed by dinner

Evening restorative experience (breathwork, yoga nidra, etc).

One full day will be for those wanting to experience a Temazcal ceremony, which is off-site.

This is optional, and will be coordinated with those who wish to experience it.

Because of the tranformative nature of this retreat, we encourage sobriety for all participants.

Temazcal (traditional mayan sweat lodge) is optional, but highly encouraged! Please ask us if you have health concerns.

Mayan Ruins is also optional, but *highly* encouraged, as this is the sacred site where the Mayans conducted ceremony and offerings to Goddess Ixchel.

Retreat will be held at B Unique in Cozumel, which is an adults-only portion of the hotel.

FLIGHT INFORMATION:

*When checking flights, look for flights into the Cozumel International Airport first, arriving anytime after 2pm on Saturday the 5th. *However, we are flexible to accomodate your travel needs**

Boise people, you may wish to check flights into Cancun, as this seems to have better options available.  If possible, arrive earlier in the evening as there will be a 2-hour shuttle from Cancun, to Cozumel.*

When checking flights home on the 11th, finding ones that leave late morning or early afternoon is best.

HOWEVER: If you are flying from Cancun, please calculate at least 2 hours for shuttle service from hotel to Cancun airport.

Boise people, you may wish to check flights into Cancun, as this seems to have better options available.  If possible, arrive earlier in the evening as there will be a 2-hour shuttle from Cancun, to Cozumel.*

**We recognize that flight availability has decreased significantly due to the gas and economy changes recently, and you may want to get creative with how you arrive. Ie: one-way to Dallas, then a one way from Dallas to Cozumel, etc...**

We are actively looking for the easiest routes to arrive, and will share updates and deals we find as well. Please contact us directly with questions, and know we will be flexible with your schedule as needed.

Her primary intention is to be guided by love in all that she does. She loves to help guide people into a place where they feel really good in their bodies. To help relieve pain, promote relaxation and to dig deeper into the truth of who they are.  My gift is helping people awaken into the tools in which they will feel empowered in every moment, in hopes that they will re-discover joy and passion within and without (the totality of their lives, interactions, relationships).   She inspires building relationships that go beyond labels and constructs a space of love, truth and integrity. Reviews

Jess lead an amazing retreat filled with love, acceptance, tears, joy, and connection. She is an amazing group facilitator and brings such positive and uplifting energy. Loved the movement, new friendships, and of course, being in the vortex energy of Sedona. Would definitely do more retreats with her and with Yothera.
