About this trip

Yoga practice involves both action and reflection. With the intent to gain direct experience and self-knowledge, yoga engages us in skillful actions in order to become better acquainted with ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally. This attuned awareness then allows us to be more present within this current moment and move forward within our lives with discerning and effective action. In the soul-nurturing retreat setting of the Feathered Pipe Ranch, we’ll explore the tools of asana, pranayama, and exploration of yoga philosophy to enter the interior world of the Self and manifest our lives with full presence.

We are deeply honored that Senior Intermediate level Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher Marla Apt returns for her eleventh season at the Ranch to share her gift with students who are primed to deepen their commitment to consistent, daily practice. Embraced and surrounded by the majesty of the Rocky Mountains and nourished by artfully prepared vegetarian cuisine, this very special week offers a rare opportunity for undistracted and fully supported focus on cultivating self-knowledge.

Between daily classes with Marla, you’ll enjoy ample time to absorb the benefits of your practice in an idyllic and inspiring big sky setting where clean mountain air, the soothing fragrance of pines, and star-studded night skies combine to lovingly reset body, mind, and spirit.
