About this trip

Renew your life force with a yoga retreat in paradise at the Emporio Hotel Ixtapa!  Find courage and serenity both, as taught through the masters of great traditions in Yoga.

Kate Potter and David LeClair are back to Mexico for 2020! This perfect combination of teachers with take turns inspiring you.  Kate is known for her 10 year hit TV show called Namaste; a soothing spectacle of dynamic yoga practices which follow the central theme of moving with breath. Her gentle style and 30 years of teaching gives any  level student just what they need.

David, while a long time student of flow, is a teacher of Iyengar Yoga and has the brilliant gift of  teaching this method to give structure to stillness and detail to lines of force. His style is direct, calm and sincere, much like Kate and yet entirely different.

Each teacher will have their own workshops that will tie in and  build through the weekend together. Come to as many classes as you like or use the time relaxing by the pool with family and friends.

Location Location

Last year, our Embracing Change Retreat was too remote for some. We have listened to your needs, and  have teamed up with  the fabulous Emporio Hotel Ixtapa right on the beach so you can bring the whole family and still retreat within your own vacation.

Who's All Coming?

Victoria O'Hara has presented Kate for years in this neck of the woods. She also teaches Yoga in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo for the winter months while Kate lives 20 miles south in a remote village for 2 months every year. Between the 2 of these gals and their own students, there is a strong community of Yogis whole will attend the weekend. After that its up to you. David is a big draw for friends from Vancouver B.C. Lets make this one the best yet!

Is This Weekend For You?

No matter what age, or what level of experience, you are made to feel so welcome with this team of 3. Victoria is your host and Kate and David are your loving teachers. Where can you find a weekend in a tropical holiday location where each and every person is taken care of by two of the kindest Yoga teachers you would care to know? Right here. You will want to come every year.

My main passions lie centred in the creativity of music, supported through the practice of Yoga and informed by years of travelling. My lifelong career has been teaching Yoga in classes, private sessions and retreats. My television show Namaste TV has connected me to my students around the world and for this I am very grateful!

This trip gave everyone a wonderful chance to reflect upon their own lives; my departure left me feeling hopeful that I'll return to become immersed in the graceful spirit of the Cuban people. Thanks Kate!
