Private tour with professional guide: City Tour with Dublin Castle, St Patrick's
Cathedral, Trinity College, and the Book of Kells. Discover Dublin's rich history and literary heritage on this private city tour with a professional guide. Visit the impressive Dublin Castle, once the seat of British rule in Ireland, and explore the stunning St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the largest church in the country. Stroll through the historic grounds of Trinity College and marvel at the ancient Book of Kells, a beautifully illuminated manuscript dating back to the 9th century.
Dinner & Entertainment at the Merry Ploughboys Pub
Enjoy an authentic Irish evening with a hearty 3-course dinner and a lively show of
traditional music and Irish dancing performed by the renowned Merry Ploughboys
band. Private transfers are included.
Meet your English-speaking guide and driver at 9:00 AM, who will accompany the
group for six days until returning to Dublin. The first destination on this journey is
County Kerry, with a stop in the town of Blarney to visit the famous Blarney Castle
and Estate. Here you will find the legendary Stone of Eloquence. Kiss it and you’ll
never again be lost for words. Enjoy some time for shopping at Blarney Woollen Mills. The presence of the Woollen Mills during the famine shielded Blarney from the worst effects of the famine, due to its employment of local workers. In 1976 Chris Kelleher, himself a mill worker, bought the old mill property. Within a short period of time, Chris and his family transformed the mill into what is perhaps the largest quality craft shop in Ireland.
This morning, enjoy a traditional jaunting car tour to Ross Castle and Killarney
National Park. Travel back in time as you ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the stunning landscapes of Killarney. Pass serene lakes, ancient woodlands, and lush meadows on your way to the picturesque Ross Castle, a 15th-century tower house steeped in local legend. This relaxing and scenic experience offers a charming glimpse into Ireland’s natural beauty and heritage.
Afterwards, enjoy a private tour of the Ring of Kerry with your driver-guide,
including a visit to a traditional farm and a captivating sheepdog demonstration.
The Ring of Kerry is a famous scenic drive, known for its breathtaking landscapes,
charming villages, and historical landmarks. The route forms a circular loop of about
166 kilometers, starting and ending in Killarney.
Head north to Tarbert, where you’ll enjoy a ferry ride across the Shannon
River to Killimer. This pleasant 20-minute journey crosses the Shannon Estuary,
which is almost 100 km long and 13 km wide at its widest point. Ecologically, the
Shannon Estuary is uniquely valuable, home to a resident group of bottlenose
dolphins. Additionally, it serves as an important habitat for migrating birds and
wildfowl. The ferry accommodates both cars and coaches, saving 85 miles (137 km)
from terminal to terminal, providing a convenient gateway to the many attractions of Clare, Kerry, and the surrounding counties.
Continue to the stunning Atlantic Coast to visit the iconic Cliffs of Moher, followed by
a visit to the unique landscape of the Burren.
Private tour to Cliffs of Moher & Burren with your driver-guide. Entrance to the
Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre is included.
Private Galway City tour with a guide, including a visit to Galway Cathedral.
Galway Cathedral is located on Nun’s Island, on the west bank of the River Corrib
near Salmon Weir Bridge. It was the last large church in Ireland to be made from
stone, and features a huge octagonal dome that complements the skyline of the City of Galway. The cathedral combines many features from different styles and periods of architecture. There are many treasures of art inside and outside. Erected on the site of an old jail, the parking lot of the cathedral contains a white cross in the
pavement. It marks the site of the prison graveyard.
Optional & at an Extra Charge: A Medieval Banquet at Knappogue Castle
Private transfers and dinner are included (3-course meal with a glass of wine or
beer). Please note that the banquet itself is not private, and other guests may be
present.
Day at leisure.
Take some time to relax before your journey home and enjoy shopping. If you'd like
to explore more of Dublin and its surrounding areas, there are plenty of attractions to discover.
End of Tour! Representative meets in hotel lobby for transfer to Dublin airport.
