About this trip

Remember long summer days when your whole agenda was sunshine, swimming, and s’mores? When you and your camp friends collapsed into bed, dead tired but eager to adventure all over again tomorrow?

Camp life really is the best life.

We're going to camp and we’re doing it Sweat Pink style. That means a long weekend spent in nature, full of our favorite things: sweat, activity, healthy eats, community, and big skies full of stars.

We'll get to play and experience the beauty and great outdoors of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains.

Camp is happening at the beautiful Explore Park in Roanoke, VA.

Program will include:

  • Outdoor adventures
  • Yoga, workouts,  and runs
  • Delicious, healthy meals
  • The best camp friends you’ve ever had
  • More gifts and swag from our partners!

I had such an incredible time!!! The campgrounds were beautiful, Deej was the sage I didn't know I needed, I loved visiting the horses each day, the food was super yummy and the swag bags were unreal! (Although I am a little bummed about the backpacks because I scoped out their website and their products look awesome!) My only constructive feedback is that I would have liked more time for lake activities and more choices for workouts. I'm not big on yoga and by the end of the weekend I was feeling some yoga fatigue. Options for other activities like bike rides, swimming, paddleboarding, weights, etc would be awesome!

I loved the entire experience from the start to finish! It was a beautiful opportunity to connect with other amazing women, disconnect from my phone, and have so much fun!

I had a blast! It was just what I needed to reset and connect with friends. (Plus all the swag and goodies were amazing.
It was an absolute blast! The location was perfect and the overall feel was relaxing and calming. The hostesses were phenomenal and gave many varied opportunities for camp participants to interact with each other and grow from the experience. It was definitely worth participating in!
EMPOWER Summer Camp was such an incredible experience. From truly unplugging and connecting with fellow campers, to incredible food and accommodations, to yoga, running, stand up paddle boarding, and so much more. I cannot thank the FitApproach ladies and Ronora Lodge & Retreat enough for the amazing weekend!
