About this trip

Join Bay Area renowned yoga instructor, Brittany Benedetto, for a weekend of empowerment at the Mayacamas Home in beautiful Calistoga, California. By embarking upon this weekend getaway, you can expect an experience that you'll never forget. You will not want to miss this amazing weekend of yoga, delicious food, good fellowship, and time for yourself. You'll get to to practice yoga each day (twice on Friday and Saturday), enjoy all organic, fresh, local and prepared-on-site meals (professional chefs Lizette and Geoff Marx will be in the kitchen cooking for us all weekend!), join in on dynamic daytime activities, such as Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga, Hiking or Hot Springs, or sit back and relax by the pool, soak in the hot tub, or perhaps get a massage back at the ranch house. Lizette and Geoff, our chefs, will also offer a casual, free cooking "class" for those who wish to learn. By morning, you will become empowered through an invigorating, strength-based Power Yoga practice and a hearty breakfast. The afternoons will be filled with fun and relaxation, time with friends, or alone. Planned activities with a group are an option, but so is hanging back and spending time alone, if desired. By evening, you will be guided and encouraged towards relaxation and a peaceful winding down, complete with Yin Yoga, Restoratives, and Meditation.

Clear your schedule; find a way.  Brittany's Empowering the Heart Yoga Retreat will be a weekend to remember and one you won't want to miss. You are worth every moment of this trip. It's been planned with love, by Brittany, for you.

Brittany Benedetto is a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified instructor, who graduated from her teacher training program at YogaWorks in Walnut Creek in 2011. For 5 years, she has been teaching yoga to groups of students throughout the Bay Area and currently teaches at Earth and Sea Yoga in Lafayette. Brittany works with all levels of practitioners, from beginners through advanced. She works with athletes and sports teams, from high school to college to professional. She was the Yoga instructor for the Golden State Warriors, including Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, for several seasons. Brittany is an enthusiastic yogi and athlete herself, who believes that the practice can and will empower a person when they devote themselves to getting onto their mat fervently and consistently. She loves leading her students through the process of becoming their best selves: stronger physically and mentally, and living in love with their lives.
