This trip was amazing! Martine & the rest of the staff were very personable and helpful with any questions and needs. The accommodations and organization was wonderful. Even when unforeseen issues came up, which always do on adventures like this, they adjusted to help the injured party yet kept the rest of the group moving and having a wonderful time. I would totally do another adventure with Motor Adventures.

PROS - Logistically extremely well prepared and organized. Even when changes needed to be made mid-way, it felt like a smooth process. Very professional and comprehensive experience. - I feel like I received good value for my money. Is fairly priced, including the damage security deposit, which I had to pay. - The bikes were high quality and a perfect fit for the tour. - Wonderful choice of hotels, the accommodations and food were varied and made for a true "Sahara Experience". - Wonderful routes selected for the tour with a great diversity of landscapes and terrain. Also, a good mix of skill level required on the routes. - Montine was very helpful and kind. The support crew in general was outstanding. - John clearly knows the routes through the mountains and the deserts better than probably anyone. Extremely knowledgeable. CONS - It is a real shame John doesn't proactively share much of his knowledge about how to successfully ride in a Sahara experience. The briefings were very short. It seemed like John didn't really want to give them. That would have been a great time to share in detail what type of terrain we will experience and best practices for riding that in terrain. Even the best riders in the group could have learned a lot from John if he would have shared more best practices - he is a world class expert!!! His most valuable "tips" usually came *after* you already made a mistake, and they were usually delivered in a way like you were an idiot for not knowing it already. I know this tour is not marketed as a "training" and a certain level of skill is assumed (which is fine), but John seems like he doesn't really want to be there and isn't particularly interested in being proactively helpful. - John managed the group very well to keep us on schedule, but the cost was the experience felt pretty rushed at times. I wish we had a little more time to "take in" the beauty of the landscapes. It was a bit of a blur racing from one stop to the next. - Six days of riding is too long for me. Five would have been perfect. By the sixth day I was physically exhausted (and I am in pretty good shape!) and more importantly I was very mentally fatigued from needing to be "locked in" every minute to avoid making a mistake. The mental fatigue led to me too slowly process than a sharp turn was coming after a straight away where you could go somewhat fast. I take full responsibility for crashing at this turn. My bad. Just explaining why six days was a day too long for me.

An amazing trip, never experienced such a riding environment as the Moroccan desert, fantastic, such variation in terrain and speed. Many thanks to John for taking us through the desert, at quite a pace! Also thanks to Martine and Maryam for their support. Great food and good companions to share the journey. Loved the 450 KTM, the perfect bike for the job. Overall an unforgettable experience. Missing it already!

Where to start! From meeting Martina at the hotel everything was seamless. We then had a delicious dinner and met our guide John. He walked us through what to expect. The trio was amazing start to finish, the hotels were in the most amazing places and we were the only people there. The riding was spectacular, long days, fast fast riding. Keeping up with John was a mission but kept us all hungry. The rest of the team in the buggies had an incredible time also. Make sure you wear all the protective clothing you can, Africa is full of unforgiving terrain. Would love to come back again and do it all over! Highly highly recommended!!! Thanks team, trio of a life time.
