Part of each day will be spent doing guided tours and the remainder of each day will be left to explore on your own. Pack your backs and get ready for this amazing adventure!

Check in to the Hotel upon arrival and settle in! Take some time to soak in the sights and get acclimated to your new time zone before our first lecture (The Founding and Flourishing of Ancient Rome) with Thomas Madden PhD at 7:30PM.
Today will be a long, but amazing day! Be sure to bring snacks and feel free to opt out if the wind in your sails fades. We will be touring for approximately 5 hours from 9AM until 2PM. We will be visiting sites such as the Arch of Constantine, the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Trajan Forum. We will have our evening lecture (Rome as the seat of Empire) with Professor Madden at 4:30PM and then gather together for our welcome dinner at 6:30PM.
Today is a lighter day beginning at 10AM and concluding around 1PM. We will be visiting sites such as the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona, the Column of Marcus Aurelius, and the Trevi Fountain. Tonight's lecture (Riches and Glory) will be held at 4:30PM.
This morning, starting at 10AM, we will visit San Clemente and the Circus Maximus. We will break for lunch and resume touring around 2PM to visit the Capitoline Museums. Tonight's lecture (Decadence, War, and the Rise of Christianity) will be at 8PM.
Starting at 10AM today, we will visit San John Lateran and Sancta Sanctorum. Breaking for lunch, we will resume around 2PM to visit the Oratorio di San Silvestro. Tonight's lecture (The Rise of Papal Rome) will be at 8PM.
Today's tour will begin in the afternoon leaving the morning free to explore. We will be visiting the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. This tour will last approximately 3.5 hours. Tonight's lecture (Rome, Riches, and the Renaissance), our last lecture, will be held at 8PM.
On our last and final day, we will be visiting Domus Aurea around 10AM and then having the afternoon free to have lunch, explore, and stroll around the Trastevere area. Our Farewell dinner will be held tonight at 6PM.
