We start our day with an unforgettable hike through La Sierra de Catorce towards La Cañada, a community where, thanks to the good use and distribution of water, its inhabitants protect an oasis of medicinal plants that flourishes in the middle of the desert.

 We will follow the water trail towards lush lagoons and rivers. Our host, Margarita,  will receive us at La Sierra Gorda: the green heart of Mexico. Margarita as dedicated her life to living in balance and gratitude with Mother Earth. We'll spend 2 days in this incredible place. 

Today we’ll wander across rivers and canyons. A colorful place, where the abundance of water contrasts with the desert landscapes. We will bathe in crystal clear waters and make our offering ritual to water and life. On our way back, Margarita will meet us to end our day in the steam of temazcal. 

A day to expore on your own and relax. 

 We leave behind La Sierra Gorda and turn back towards Mexico City. We will visit the town of Bernal, known for the bewilderingPeña de Bernal, the third highest monolith in the world. Bernal is a small town with cobbled and colorful streets and is known for its wonderful wool textile tradition.
