The Zanzibar Spice Tour proceeds to the Kizimbani Village in the Central District to visit the spice farms to see, smell and test varieties of tropical fruits and spices such as black pepper, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, vanilla sticks, lemon grass, nutmeg etc.  The tour lasts roughly 2 hours depending on how big the group is.

By the end of the tour you will have known the life cycle and uses of various types of spices, tropical fruits and root crops after being taught in detail. Learning and watching the typical environment of Zanzibar as well as experiencing zanzibar Village life are amongst other things that you are going to be benefited with. 

Prison island The tour offers nature, history and adventure combined in a relaxing, enjoying the beautiful and nice beach, feeding giant Aldabra tortoise and colored fish and corals for snorkeling in the channel of the Indian Ocean, on this small isle just off the Stone Town it is launched from the city and involves a 30 minutes motorized boat ride to the “Prison” island. The British First Minister of Zanzibar, Lloyd Mathews, purchased the island in 1893 and constructed a prison complex there. No prisoners were ever housed on the island and instead it became a quarantine station for yellow fever cases.

Head for the island’s north-eastern waters and watch for dolphins in their natural habitat.  Enjoy Dolphin watching from the boat with or jump in the water and Swim and play with the Dolphins in the open water.  Next we go for snorkeling at Mnemba Island Reef, where corals and clear waters teem with angel fish, rays and other tropical species. Finish at a sandbank to swim in the calm and bright shallows.

The largest remaining stand of near-natural forest on Zanzibar located in central part of the Island.  watch out for red colobus monkeys as you walk through the Jozani Forest Reserve, where you’ll join a park ranger for a guided nature tour of the sanctuary. Learn how Zanzibar’s wildlife evolved in isolation from the mainland, follow a boardwalk through a mangrove swamp, and walk between towering eucalyptus and mahogany trees that provide essential habitat for native birds.

Adumu is the world famous traditional jumping dance performed by the iconic Maasai tribe of Tanzania and Kenya.

The adumu, also known as the “jumping dance,” is a highly identifiable Maasai ceremony that has been captured in countless photographs and movies. However, many tourists may be unaware of the true significance of this dance. When on safari tribesmen will often perform an out-of-context version of it for visitors.

Warriors performing the traditional leaping dance called adumu, compete to see who can jump the highest and to decide who gets to marry who. social occasions. The most well known is adumu, the jumping dance. In the past, warriors showed their prowess by killing a lion.

The word taarab is a loanword from Arabic. The Arabic word طرب means "having joy with music". Taarab music has deep roots and is believed to have started in the Zanzibar Town off the East African coast. The many influences of this music reflect the various cultures that have passed through this trading area overmany years. As a regional art-form Taarab incorporates Swahili, Arabic and Egyptian cultures.

Taarab ensembles often feature accordion, violin or the qanun, a type of zither, giving the lively music a Middle Eastern sound. They also include tablah drums and can feature double bass and cello and other instruments. The music took on a Zanzibari flavor when lyrics from Swahili poetry were eventually added.
